A 1221m d'altitude, le panorama s'ouvre ici à 360 degrés sur un paysage superbe. Au nord, c'est la Basse-Navarre avec la vallée des Aldudes et les Pics d'Auza et Adartza. Au sud, la plaine de Burguete/Auritz ouvre la voie vers la Navarre et Pampelune/Irunea. Le paysage est typique de l'écosystème sylvopastoral. Pour la migration, c'est un site exceptionnel. Les oiseaux s'y observent dans des conditions optimales. Le site est suivi scientifiquement depuis 1987. Les objectifs sont triple d'étudier les flux migratoires en vue de déceler les changements des populations, d'étudier l’impact de la chasse aux pigeons sur l’ensemble des espèces migratrices, d'informer le public sur le fabuleux phénomène de la migration. At 1221m altitude, the panorama opens up here at 360 degrees on a superb landscape. To the north is Lower Navarre with the valley of the Aldudes and the peaks of Auza and Adartza. To the south, the plain of Burguete/Auritz opens the way to Navarre and Pamplona/Irunea. The landscape is typical of the sylvopastoral ecosystem. For migration, it is an exceptional site. Birds can be observed here in optimal conditions. The site has been scientifically monitored since 1987. The objectives are threefold: to study migratory flows in order to detect changes in populations, to study the impact of pigeon hunting on all migratory species and to inform the public about the fabulous phenomenon of migration. Auf einer Höhe von 1221 m öffnet sich hier ein 360-Grad-Panorama über eine herrliche Landschaft. Im Norden liegt Nieder-Navarra mit dem Tal von Aldudes und den Gipfeln von Auza und Adartza. Im Süden öffnet die Ebene von Burguete/Auritz den Weg nach Navarra und Pamplona/Irunea. Die Landschaft ist typisch für das sylvopastorale Ökosystem. Für die Migration ist dies ein außergewöhnlicher Ort. Die Vögel lassen sich hier unter optimalen Bedingungen beobachten. Der Standort wird seit 1987 wissenschaftlich überwacht. Die Ziele sind dreifach: Untersuchung der Zugströme, um Veränderungen in den Populationen zu erkennen, Untersuchung der Auswirkungen der Taubenjagd auf alle Zugvogelarten, Information der Öffentlichkeit über das fabelhafte Phänomen der Migration. In het zuiden opent de vlakte van Burguete/Auritz de weg naar Navarra en Pamplona/Irunea. Het landschap is typisch voor het sylvopastorale ecosysteem. Voor migratie is het een uitzonderlijke site. Vogels kunnen hier in optimale omstandigheden worden waargenomen. Het gebied wordt sinds 1987 wetenschappelijk gecontroleerd. De doelstellingen zijn drieledig: het bestuderen van de migratiestromen om veranderingen in de populaties vast te stellen, het bestuderen van het effect van de duivenjacht op alle trekvogels, het informeren van het publiek over het fabelachtige verschijnsel van de migratie.
