ENS – La Source de la Doue – Glay

Enveloppée dans un écrin forestier, la source de la Doue jaillit du cœur de la roche calcaire pour donner naissance à un charmant ruisseau qui s’écoule paisiblement dans une vallée prairiale, avant de former avec la Creuse le cours d’eau du Gland, au village de Glay. Avec ses versants forestiers attenants, ses prairies, la présence d’un ancien moulin témoin des activités humaines passées, ce site en fond de reculée offre de multiples paysages, et une ambiance bucolique et intime… On peut y observer de nombreuses espèces de papillons, de plantes et d’oiseaux comme la bergeronnette des ruisseaux ou le cingle plongeur. Des panneaux pédagogiques décrivant le moulin, le patrimoine industriel et la biodiversité locale permettent de découvrir ce site.

Wrapped in a forest setting, the source of the Doue springs from the heart of the limestone rock to give rise to a charming stream that flows peacefully through a meadowy valley, before forming the Gland stream with the Creuse at the village of Glay. With its adjoining forested slopes, its meadows and the presence of an old mill bearing witness to past human activities, this site at the end of a small valley offers a wide range of landscapes and a bucolic, intimate atmosphere… Many species of butterfly, plant and bird can be seen here, including the common wagtail and the diving cingle. Educational panels describing the mill, its industrial heritage and local biodiversity are available to help visitors discover the site.

Inmitten eines Waldgebiets entspringt die Quelle der Doue aus dem Herzen des Kalksteins und bildet einen charmanten Bach, der friedlich durch ein Wiesental fließt, bevor er zusammen mit der Creuse den Wasserlauf Eichel im Dorf Glay bildet. Mit seinen angrenzenden Waldhängen, seinen Wiesen und einer alten Mühle, die von früheren menschlichen Aktivitäten zeugt, bietet dieser Ort am Ende eines Rückzugsgebiets vielfältige Landschaften und eine bukolische und intime Atmosphäre… Hier kann man zahlreiche Schmetterlings-, Pflanzen- und Vogelarten wie die Bachstelze oder den Tauchspint beobachten. Pädagogische Tafeln, die die Mühle, das industrielle Erbe und die lokale Biodiversität beschreiben, helfen bei der Erkundung dieses Ortes.

In een bosrijke omgeving ontspringt de bron van de Doue in het hart van de kalksteenrots. Hier ontspringt een charmant beekje dat vredig door een weidevallei stroomt en bij het dorpje Glay samenvloeit met de Creuse. Met zijn aangrenzende beboste hellingen, zijn weiden en de aanwezigheid van een oude molen die getuigt van menselijke activiteiten in het verleden, biedt deze plek aan het einde van een kleine vallei een breed scala aan landschappen en een bucolische, intieme sfeer? Er zijn hier veel soorten vlinders, planten en vogels te zien, waaronder de kwikstaart en de duikerwiek. Er zijn educatieve panelen die de molen, het industriële erfgoed en de plaatselijke biodiversiteit beschrijven om bezoekers te helpen de site te ontdekken.

Envuelto en un entorno forestal, el nacimiento del Doue brota del corazón de la roca caliza para dar lugar a un encantador arroyo que fluye apaciblemente por un valle de prados, antes de formar el arroyo Gland con el Creuse en el pueblo de Glay. Con sus laderas boscosas adyacentes, sus praderas y la presencia de un antiguo molino testigo de las actividades humanas del pasado, este lugar situado al final de un pequeño valle ofrece una gran variedad de paisajes y un ambiente bucólico e íntimo.. Aquí se pueden observar numerosas especies de mariposas, plantas y aves, entre ellas la lavandera cascadeña y la carraca buceadora. Hay paneles didácticos que describen el molino, su patrimonio industrial y la biodiversidad local para ayudar a los visitantes a descubrir el lugar.

Immersa in un contesto forestale, la sorgente della Doue sgorga dal cuore della roccia calcarea per dare origine a un incantevole torrente che scorre placidamente in una valle di prati, prima di confluire nel torrente Gland con la Creuse presso il villaggio di Glay. Con i suoi pendii boscosi adiacenti, i suoi prati e la presenza di un vecchio mulino che testimonia le attività umane del passato, questo sito alla fine di una piccola valle offre un'ampia gamma di paesaggi e un'atmosfera bucolica e intima Qui si possono osservare molte specie di farfalle, piante e uccelli, tra cui la cutrettola comune e il cingolo tuffatore.
