Villa Mauresque – Bourg

Cette villa de style mauresque fut construite au début du XXème siècle par un fonctionnaire colonial ayant travaillé en Afrique du Nord. A son retour, il décida de construire la façade de sa maison dans le style mauresque par nostalgie de son temps passé en là bas.

This Moorish-style villa was built in the early 20th century by a colonial civil servant who had worked in North Africa. On his return, he decided to build the front of his house in the Moorish style out of nostalgia for his time spent there.

Diese Villa im maurischen Stil wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts von einem Kolonialbeamten gebaut, der in Nordafrika gearbeitet hatte. Nach seiner Rückkehr beschloss er, die Fassade seines Hauses im maurischen Stil zu bauen, weil er sich nach seiner Zeit dort sehnte.
