Pont d'Avignon (Saint-Bénezet) – Avignon

Le pont Saint Bénezet, construit à partir du 12e siècle et témoin majeur de l’histoire d’Avignon, est connu dans le monde entier grâce à sa célèbre chanson enfantine "Sur le pont d'Avignon". Il est inscrit Patrimoine Mondial par l’UNESCO depuis 1995.

The Saint Bénezet bridge, a major witness of the history of Avignon, is known throughout the world thanks to the famous song. Built from the 12th century, it was washed away several times by the floods of the Rhone, and finally abandoned in the seventeenth century. Classified World Heritage by UNESCO.

Die Brücke Saint Bénezet ist ein Zeugnis der Stadtgeschichte von Avignon und dank des berühmten Kinderlieds auf der ganzen Welt bekannt. Sie wurde im 12. Jh. erbaut und mehrmals vom Hochwasser der Rhone fortgerissen. Im 17. Jh. baute man sie nicht wieder auf. UNESCO-Welterbe.

El puente Saint Bénezet de Aviñón es uno de los vestigios más importantes de la historia de Aviñón y es conocido en el mundo entero gracias a su famosa canción.
