Parc et vestiges du Château de Vendôme – Vendôme

Agréable occasion de détente, le parc du château des Bourbon-Vendôme (dont les ruines -classées MH- sont datées des XIIe et XVIe s.) aux allées sinueuses d'un parc à l'anglaise élaboré au XIXe s., offre un panorama de choix sur la ville. Les floraisons des vivaces s'y succèdent au fil des saisons. A voir également, un magnifique cèdre du Liban planté en 1807. Accès libre en permanence. En juillet-août, les dimanches matins (11h) des concerts sont programmés, par l'association Château de Vendôme Berceau des Bourbon, dans les jardins suspendus (se renseigner sur leur site chateaudevendome.fr).
