Musée Tomi Ungerer – Centre International de l'Illustration – Strasbourg

Situé dans la Villa Greiner, le musée conserve une collection de 14 000 dessins donnés à sa ville natale par Tomi Ungerer,dessinateur et illustrateur né en 1931 à Strasbourg, ainsi qu’un fonds de dessins d’illustration du XXe siècle. Une sélection de 300 oeuvres originales de l’artiste est présentée thématiquement et régulièrement renouvelée : ses dessins de livres pour enfants,satiriques et publicitaires, tout comme ses oeuvres érotiques.Des expositions temporaires, tant monographiques que thématiques, sont régulièrement organisées autour d’autres dessinateurs et illustrateurs du XXe siècle et d’aujourd’hui.

Located in the Villa Greiner, the museum holds a collection of 14,000 drawings donated to his home town by Tomi Ungerer, a draughtsman and illustrator born in Strasbourg in 1931, as well as a collection of illustrative drawings from the twentieth century. A selection of 300 original works by the artist is presented thematically and regularly renewed: his drawings for children's books, satirics and advertising, as well as his erotic works. Temporary exhibitions, both monographic and thematic, are regularly organized around other draftsmen and illustrators of the twentieth century and today.

Das Museum befindet sich in der Villa Greiner und beherbergt eine Sammlung von 14.000 Zeichnungen, die der 1931 in Straßburg geborene Zeichner und Illustrator Tomi Ungerer seiner Heimatstadt geschenkt hat, sowie einen Bestand an Illustrationszeichnungen aus dem 20. Eine Auswahl von 300 Originalwerken des Künstlers wird thematisch präsentiert und regelmäßig erneuert: seine Kinderbuch-, Satire- und Werbezeichnungen ebenso wie seine erotischen Werke. Es werden regelmäßig monografische und thematische Sonderausstellungen zu anderen Zeichnern und Illustratoren des 20. Jahrhunderts und der Gegenwart organisiert.

Het museum is gevestigd in de Villa Greiner en bezit een collectie van 14.000 tekeningen die Tomi Ungerer, een in 1931 in Straatsburg geboren striptekenaar en illustrator, aan zijn geboortestad heeft geschonken, alsmede een verzameling illustratietekeningen uit de 20e eeuw. Een selectie van 300 originele werken van de kunstenaar wordt thematisch gepresenteerd en regelmatig vernieuwd: zijn tekeningen voor kinderboeken, satirische en reclameboeken, alsook zijn erotische werken. Tijdelijke tentoonstellingen, zowel monografisch als thematisch, worden regelmatig georganiseerd rond andere striptekenaars en illustratoren van de 20e eeuw en vandaag.
