Musée Lapidaire – Avignon

Le musée Lapidaire ou galerie des Antiques du musée Calvet présente les collections grecques, romaines, gallo-romaines et paléo-chrétiennes, dans une présentation peu à peu renouvelée.

The Lapidary Museum or the Antiquities Gallery of the Calvet Museum displays Greek, Roman, Gallo-roman and Paleochristian collections in a presentation that has been slowly renewed. El Museo Lapidario o Galería de Antigüedades del Museo Calvet presenta las colecciones griegas, romanas, galorromanas y paleocristianas en una presentación que ha sido renovada poco a poco. La antigua capilla del colegio Jesuita (siglo XVII), increíble prueba de la arquitectura barroca, alberga esta magnífica colección.

Il museo Lapidario o galleria dell’arte antica del museo Calvet presenta le collezioni greche, romane, gallo-romane e paleocristiane, in una presentazione rinnovata nel corso del tempo. L’antica cappella del Collegio di Gesuiti (XVII sec.), splendida testimonianza dell’architettura barocca, accoglie questo ricco complesso.
