Musée Estrine, Centre d'Interprétation Vincent van Gogh – Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Il a été entièrement restauré en 1989 et récompensé par le Prix du patrimoine vivant de la Fondation de France. Depuis 2007, il abrite le Musée Estrine, jeune musée de France et vient de bénéficier en 2014 d'un vaste programme d'agrandissement et de rénovation. Pour rendre hommage à Vincent van Gogh qui vécut à Saint-Rémy- de-Provence du 8 mai 1889 au 20 mai 1890, le musée Estrine a réalisé un espace pédagogique multimédia consacré à la vie et à l'oeuvre du peintre. Le centre d'interprétation Vincent van Gogh permet aux visiteurs de (re)découvrir le parcours humain et artistique de cette personnalité exceptionnelle et son influence sur la création du XXe et XXIe siècle. La collection du Musée Estrine est dédiée à la peinture et aux arts graphiques des XXe et XXIe siècle dans la filiation des deux grands artistes qui ont marqué la ville de Saint-Rémy-de- Provence, Vincent van Gogh et Albert Gleizes. Avec plus de 1000 oeuvres, cette collection dresse un riche panorama de la création régionale et nationale avec des artistes comme Vincent Bioulès, Bernard Buffet, Albert Gleizes, Eugène Leroy ou encore Paul Rebeyrolle. The Estrine Museum and Van Gogh Art Centre is located in a superb 18th century historic monument, the Hôtel Estrine, which in 1988 won the Living Heritage Grand Prix from the France Foundation for the quality of its restoration. The building façade is in the noble, classical style and the building also has a monumental hall, an 18th century wrought iron staircase, a French-style ceiling, ornamental plasterwork and Provençal floor tiles. The inner courtyard contains a monumental work by the sculptor Christian Lapie. The Van Gogh Art Centre houses permanent exhibitions: – a tribute to Van Gogh. Das Estrine-Museum, ein Informationszentrum über das Wirken Van Goghs in der Provence, befindet sich in einem prachtvollen, unter Denkmalschutz stehenden Gebäude aus dem 18.Jahrhundert, das 1988 aufgrund seiner hervorragenden Restaurierung den Grand Prix des lebendigen Kulturguts von der Fondation de France erhielt. Das Gebäude hat eine Fassade von edler, klassischer Schönheit, eine monumentale Halle, eine schmiedeeiserne Treppe aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, Decken nach französischer Art und mit Stuk verziert, und provenzalische Bodenfliesen. Im Innenhof befindet sich eine eindrucksvolle Skulptur des Bildhauers Christian Lapie. Das Museum bietet permanent an: – Zu Ehren Van Goghs jährlich ein neues Thema über das Werk des holländischen Malers mit Videofilmen (Dauer 25 Min.), Ausstellungen von Fotos der Werke im Originalformat, Dokumentationsmaterial, Briefen u.s.w. – eine permanente Retrospektive des französischen Malers Albert Gleize (Paris 1881 – St Rémy 1953) in zwei Sälen des Museums. Einzigartige Sammlung in Frankreich mit 22 Werken des Künstlers, eines Wegbereiters des Kubismus. – bedeutende Wechselausstellungen moderner und zeitgenössischer Künstler. – regelmäßige Vorträge über Kunst und Geschichte. – Verkauf von Büchern, Postkarten, Postern u.s.w.

Het "Musée Estrine Centre d'art Présence Van Gogh" is gevestigd in een schitterend historisch monument uit de achttiende eeuw, het Hôtel Estrine, dat wegens de kwaliteit van de restauratie in 1988 is onderscheiden met de Grand Prix du Patrimoine vivant de la Fondation de France. Het gebouw bezit een schitterende klassieke gevel, een monumentale hal met een smeedijzeren trap uit de achttiende eeuw, een plafond in Franse stijl, pleisterwerk en Provençaalse terracottategeltjes. Op het binnenhof staat een monumentale beeldenreeks van Christian Lapie. In het Centre d'art Présence Van Gogh vindt u de volgende permanente exposities: – een eerbetoon aan Van Gogh. Elk jaar wordt een ander thema over het werk van de Nederlandse schilder ontwikkeld, met een video van 25 minuten, een fototentoonstelling van zijn werken in de originele afmetingen, documentatie, brieven, enz. – een permanente retrospectieve expositie over de grote Franse schilder Albert Gleize (Parijs 1881 – St. Rémy 1953), in twee zalen van het museum. Een unieke verzameling in Frankrijk, met 22 werken van deze kunstenaar en voorloper van het kubisme. – belangrijke tijdelijke exposities van moderne kunstenaars. – lezingen over kunstgeschiedenis – een winkel met boeken, kaarten, posters, enz.

El Museo Estrine, Centro de Arte Presencia Van Gogh está instalado en un increíble monumento histórico del siglo XVIII, el Hotel Estrine, que ha obtenido en 1988 el Gran Premio del Patrimonio vivo de la Fundación de Francia por la calidad de su restauración. La fachada del edificio es de una gran nobleza clásica, recibidor monumental y escalera de hierro forjado del siglo XVIII, techo a la francesa, escayolas y baldosas hexagonales provenzales. El patio interior presenta un conjunto monumental del escultor Christian Lapie. El Centro de Arte Presencia Van Gogh propone permanentemente: – un homenaje a Van Gogh. Cada año se desarrolla un tema diferente de la obra del pintor holandés, videoproyección de 25 min, exposición fotográfica de obras con sus dimensiones originales, documentación, cartas, etc. – una exposición retrospectiva permanente en dos salas del museo del gran pintor francés Albert Gleize (París 1881 – St Rémy 1953). Il Musée Estrine, centro artistico Van Gogh (Centre d'art Présence Van Gogh), si trova in uno splendido monumento storico del Settecento, l'Hôtel Estrine, che ha ottenuto nel 1988 il "Gran premio del patrimonio vivente" (Grand Prix du Patrimoine vivant) attribuito dalla Fondazione francese per la qualità dei suoi restauri. La facciata dell'edificio ha uno stile classico di grande nobiltà, completata dal monumentale ingresso e dalla scalinata in ferro battuto del secolo XVIII, con soffitto alla francese abbellito da decorazioni in gesso, e mattonelle di cotto provenzali. Il cortile interno presenta un complesso monumentale dello scultore Christian Lapie. Il Centre d'art Présence Van Gogh propone in maniera permanente: – un omaggio a Van Gogh. Ogni anno, viene sviluppato un tema diverso dell'opera del pittore olandese, con una videoproiezione di 25 minuti, una mostra fotografica di opere dell'artista in dimensioni reali, documentazione, lettere, ecc… – In due sale del museo, una mostra retrospettiva permanente del grande pittore francese Albert Gleize (Parigi 1881 – St Rémy 1953).
