Moulin du Capet – Montpezat

Perché sur les hauteurs de la vallée du Lot, le moulin à vent du Capet a été construit avant 1324 mais on le trouve daté de 1870 sur une pierre à l’entrée du moulin. A-t’il été démoli et reconstruit ? Possible ! Toujours est-il que cette vieille bâtisse était jadis comme son nom l’indique le moulin des seigneurs de Montpezat dont les châteaux successifs furent rasés, sauf l’organe vital qu’il représentait et qui constituait la survie des habitants ! Le site du Château où est placé le moulin a été acheté par la commune en février 1988 et les terrains du Capet en 1989. En 1998 la municipalité décide de restaurer ce moulin qui après être resté de très nombreuses années à l’état d’abandon et en ruine (il ne restait que le fût) avait enfin un nouveau projet de vie.

Perched on the heights of the Lot valley, the Capet windmill was built before 1324 but is dated 1870 on a stone at the entrance of the mill. Was it demolished and rebuilt? It is possible! Still, this old building was once, as its name indicates, the mill of the lords of Montpezat, whose successive castles were razed to the ground, except for the vital organ that it represented and which constituted the survival of the inhabitants! The site of the castle where the mill is located was bought by the municipality in February 1988 and the grounds of the Capet in 1989. In 1998 the municipality decided to restore this mill which, after having remained in a state of abandonment and ruin for many years (only the barrel remained), finally had a new life project.

Die Windmühle von Capet liegt auf den Höhen des Lot-Tals und wurde vor 1324 erbaut. Auf einem Stein am Eingang der Mühle findet man jedoch das Datum 1870. Wurde sie abgerissen und wieder aufgebaut? Möglicherweise! Wie der Name schon sagt, war dieses alte Gebäude einst die Mühle der Herren von Montpezat, deren Schlösser abgerissen wurden, bis auf das lebenswichtige Organ, das sie darstellte und das das Überleben der Bewohner sicherte! Das Gelände des Schlosses, auf dem die Mühle steht, wurde von der Gemeinde im Februar 1988 und die Grundstücke von Capet 1989 gekauft. Im Jahr 1998 beschloss die Gemeinde, die Mühle zu restaurieren, die nach vielen Jahren der Vernachlässigung und des Verfalls (nur das Fass war noch vorhanden) endlich ein neues Lebensprojekt hatte.

De molen van Capet, gelegen op de hoogten van de vallei van de Lot, werd gebouwd vóór 1324, maar is gedateerd op 1870 op een steen bij de ingang van de molen. Is het afgebroken en herbouwd? Mogelijk! Hoe dan ook, dit oude gebouw was ooit, zoals zijn naam aangeeft, de molen van de heren van Montpezat, wier opeenvolgende kastelen met de grond gelijk gemaakt werden, met uitzondering van het vitale orgaan dat het vertegenwoordigde en dat het voortbestaan van de bewoners vormde! Het terrein van het kasteel waar de molen staat werd in februari 1988 door de gemeente gekocht en het terrein van Capet in 1989. In 1998 besloot de gemeente de molen te restaureren, die na vele jaren van verwaarlozing en verval (alleen de ton bleef over) eindelijk een nieuw leven kreeg.

El emplazamiento del castillo donde se encuentra el molino fue comprado por el municipio en febrero de 1988 y los terrenos de Capet en 1989. En 1998, el ayuntamiento decidió restaurar el molino, que tras muchos años de abandono y ruina (sólo quedaba el barril), por fin tenía una nueva vida.

In ogni caso, questo vecchio edificio era un tempo, come indica il suo nome, il mulino dei signori di Montpezat, i cui castelli successivi sono stati rasi al suolo, tranne l'organo vitale che rappresentava e che costituiva la sopravvivenza degli abitanti! Il sito del castello dove si trova il mulino è stato acquistato dal comune nel febbraio 1988 e il terreno di Capet nel 1989. Nel 1998 il comune decise di restaurare il mulino, che dopo molti anni di abbandono e rovina (era rimasto solo il barile), ebbe finalmente una nuova vita.
