MO.CO. PANACÉE – Montpellier

Ouverte en juin 2013 dans l’ancien collège royal de médecine rénové par la Ville, MO.CO. Panacée est aujourd’hui un centre d’art contemporain de premier ordre. Il dédie sa programmation et ses espaces (1000 m²) aux artistes émergents, avec une grande place laissée à l’interdisciplinarité et l’évènementiel. Sous la direction de Numa Hambursin depuis mars 2021, MO.CO. Panacée fait partie du MO.CO. (Montpellier Contemporain), un écosystème artistique qui inclut également MO.CO. Esba (École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier) et MO.CO. un espace dédié à l’exposition de collections du monde entier.

Located on a site of historical medical importance in Montpellier – the former Royal College of Medicine – La Panacée is now a creative art venue that encourages dialogue between different artistic disciplines: the visual arts and new forms of authorship. This new centre of contemporary culture is both an exhibition space and a lifestyle hub where artists, the public and students from La Panacée’s university halls of residence can mingle and exchange ideas. La Panacée is a society for artists and a place for artistic experiences, with a welcoming reception area, café serving refreshments, an outlying gallery, temporary exhibition halls, a multimedia room, a small lecture theatre and an auditorium.

An einem für die Medizingeschichte in Montpellier symbolischen Ort gelegen, dem ehemaligen königlichen medizinischen Kolleg, ist La Panacée heute ein Ort der Kunst und der Schöpfung, der den Dialog zwischen verschiedenen künstlerischen Disziplinen fördert: visuelle Künste und neue Schreibweisen. Dieses neue Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kultur ist aber nicht nur ein Ausstellungsort, sondern auch ein Ort, an dem Künstler, Öffentlichkeit und Studenten, die im Studentenwohnheim La Panacée wohnen, zusammenleben und sich austauschen. Das Künstlerdorf La Panacée ist ein Ort künstlerischer Erfahrungen, der einen Empfangs- und Geselligkeitsbereich, ein Café für den kulinarischen Genuss, eine umlaufende Galerie, Räume für Sonderausstellungen, einen Multimediaraum, einen kleinen Hörsaal und ein kleines Auditorium bietet.

Geopend in juni 2013 in het voormalige Royal College of Medicine, gerenoveerd door de stad, MO.CO. Panacée is vandaag een eersteklas centrum voor hedendaagse kunst. Het wijdt zijn programmering en zijn ruimtes (1000 m²) aan opkomende kunstenaars, met veel ruimte voor interdisciplinariteit en evenementen. Onder leiding van Numa Hambursin sinds maart 2021, MO.CO. Panacée maakt deel uit van MO.CO. (Montpellier Contemporary), een artistiek ecosysteem dat ook MO.CO. Esba (École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier) en MO.CO. een ruimte gewijd aan de tentoonstelling van collecties uit de hele wereld.

Situado en un lugar emblemático de la historia de la medicina de Montpellier, el antiguo colegio real de medicina, hoy, la Penacée es un lugar donde se encuentra el arte y la creación en una mezcla de diferentes disciplinas artisticas : artes visuales y nuevas escrituras. Lugar de exposición, este nuevo centro de cultura contemporánea es también un espacio de vida donde viven y discuten los artistas, el público y los estudiantes residiendo aquí en la rensidencia de estudiantes de La Panacée. La Penacée, cuidad de los artistas, es un lugar de experiencias artisticas con un espacio de recepción y de convivencia hay también un café para alimentarse, una galería periférica, salas de exposición temporal, una sala multimedia, un anfiteatro y un auditórium.

Inaugurato nel giugno 2013 nell'ex Royal College of Medicine, ristrutturato dalla città, MO.CO. Panacée è oggi un centro d'arte contemporanea di prim'ordine. Dedica la sua programmazione e i suoi spazi (1000 m²) agli artisti emergenti, con ampio spazio all'interdisciplinarità e agli eventi. Sotto la direzione di Numa Hambursin dal marzo 2021, MO.CO. Panacée fa parte di MO.CO. (Montpellier Contemporary), un ecosistema artistico che comprende anche MO.CO. Esba (École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier) e MO.CO. uno spazio dedicato all'esposizione di collezioni provenienti da tutto il mondo.
