La Maison John et Eugénie Bost est un musée d’histoire : celle de John Bost arrivé dans le village de La Force en Dordogne au milieu du 19ème siècle, créateur d’un lieu unique qu’est la Fondation John BOST, et celle des personnes qui hier comme aujourd’hui y travaillent ou y vivent.
C’est aussi un musée d’art avec des créations artistiques réalisées par des résidents de la Fondation qui jalonnent le parcours muséographique.
Enfin, c’est un musée moderne et accessible à tous : objets, photos, vidéos permettent de rentrer dans cet univers singulier où chacun a sa place. « Un musée pour comprendre la différence ». Exposition sur l'art brut.

The John and Eugenie Bost House is a museum of history: that of John Bost who arrived in the village of La Force in the Dordogne in the middle of the 19th century, creator of a unique place that is the John BOST Foundation, and that of the people who, yesterday and today, work or live there

Das Maison John et Eugénie Bost ist ein Museum der Geschichte: der Geschichte von John Bost, der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts in das Dorf La Force in der Dordogne kam und einen einzigartigen Ort, die John-Bost-Stiftung, schuf, und der Geschichte der Menschen, die damals wie heute dort arbeiten oder leben
