L’île Saint Joseph : Une île industrielle – Annecy

Cette île au milieu du Thiou après le pont Saint-Joseph abrite des infrastructures hydrauliques au fil des ans. Au Moyen Âge, c’est un lieu d’activité artisanale avec moulins et battoirs. A partir du 19e siècle, l’île est dédiée à l’industrie du textile.

This island in the middle of the Thiou after the Saint-Joseph bridge has been home to hydraulic infrastructures over the years. In the Middle Ages, it was a place of craft activity with mills and threshing machines. From the 19th century, the island was dedicated to the textile industry.

Diese Insel in der Mitte des Thiou nach der Saint-Joseph-Brücke beherbergt im Laufe der Jahre hydraulische Infrastrukturen. Im Mittelalter ist sie ein Ort für handwerkliche Tätigkeiten mit Mühlen und Dreschwerken. Ab dem 19. Jahrhundert ist die Insel der Textilindustrie gewidmet.

Op dit eiland in het midden van de Thiou na de brug Saint-Joseph is in de loop der jaren waterbouwkundige infrastructuur aangelegd. In de middeleeuwen was het een plaats van ambachtelijke activiteit met molens en dorsmachines. Vanaf de 19e eeuw was het eiland gewijd aan de textielindustrie.

Esta isla situada en medio del Thiou, tras el puente Saint-Joseph, ha albergado a lo largo de los años infraestructuras hidráulicas. En la Edad Media, era un lugar de actividad artesanal con molinos y trilladoras. A partir del siglo XIX, la isla se dedicó a la industria textil.

Quest'isola al centro del Thiou, dopo il ponte Saint-Joseph, ha ospitato nel corso degli anni infrastrutture idrauliche. Nel Medioevo era un luogo di attività artigianale con mulini e trebbiatrici. A partire dal XIX secolo, l'isola fu dedicata all'industria tessile.
