LE CARRE SAINTE-ANNE – Montpellier

Le Carré Sainte-Anne fut d'abord une église néogothique construite au XIXème siècle. Son clocher majestueux est visible de toute la ville de Montpellier. Il est aujourd'hui reconverti en espace culturel et en centre d’art contemporain. Il accueille des expositions, la direction a toujours cherché à privilégier les artistes contemporains locaux (peintres, photographes, plasticiens etc…) en leur offrant un espace culturel dédié à tous les arts. Sa nef réaménagée propose un espace de 600 m2.

Carré Sainte-Anne was originally a neo-Gothic church built in the 19th century. Its majestic steeple can be seen from all over Montpellier. Today, it has been converted into a cultural space and contemporary art center. It hosts exhibitions, and the management has always sought to give priority to local contemporary artists (painters, photographers, visual artists, etc.) by offering them a cultural space dedicated to all the arts. Its refurbished nave offers 600 m2 of space.

Das Carré Sainte-Anne war zunächst eine neogotische Kirche, die im 19. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde. Ihr majestätischer Glockenturm ist von ganz Montpellier aus zu sehen. Heute ist sie in einen Kulturraum und ein Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst umgewandelt worden. Hier finden Ausstellungen statt. Die Leitung hat sich stets bemüht, lokale zeitgenössische Künstler (Maler, Fotografen, bildende Künstler usw.) zu bevorzugen, indem sie ihnen einen Kulturraum anbietet, der allen Künsten gewidmet ist. Das neu gestaltete Kirchenschiff bietet eine Fläche von 600 m2.

Carré Sainte-Anne was oorspronkelijk een neogotische kerk uit de 19e eeuw. De majestueuze klokkentoren is vanuit heel Montpellier te zien. Tegenwoordig is het omgebouwd tot een culturele ruimte en centrum voor hedendaagse kunst. Er worden tentoonstellingen gehouden en de directie heeft altijd geprobeerd voorrang te geven aan plaatselijke hedendaagse kunstenaars (schilders, fotografen, beeldende kunstenaars, enz.) door hun een culturele ruimte te bieden die gewijd is aan alle kunsten. Het gerenoveerde schip biedt 600 m2 ruimte.

Il Carré Sainte-Anne era originariamente una chiesa neogotica costruita nel XIX secolo. Il suo maestoso campanile è visibile da tutta Montpellier. Oggi è stato trasformato in uno spazio culturale e in un centro d'arte contemporanea. Ospita mostre e la direzione ha sempre cercato di privilegiare gli artisti contemporanei locali (pittori, fotografi, artisti visivi, ecc.) offrendo loro uno spazio culturale dedicato a tutte le arti. La navata ristrutturata offre 600 m2 di spazio.
