Le prieuré de La Charité a fait l’objet d’un vaste chantier de restauration. Aujourd’hui, certains espaces sont achevés, et le public découvre ou redécouvre les trésors de l’architecture romane du monument. Le cloître, les salles XVIIIe et deux pièces voûtées sont maintenant rénovés, la première est la salle capitulaire, la deuxième, dite salle Mérimée, s’ouvre sur une troisième, transformée en passage public après la Révolution. Les différents temps du monastère ont été respectés et harmonisés, les apports de lumière privilégiés, le verre et le métal déclinés avec alternance entre bandes de verres transparents et de verres translucides, travaillés comme un vitrail. Inaugurés en octobre 2012, les vitraux contemporains de Christopher Wool, artiste Newyorkais, décorent ces 2 salles. Une oeuvre vive et gaie. A découvrir ! 

The priory of La Charité has been the subject of a vast restoration project. Today, some areas have been completed, and the public is discovering or rediscovering the treasures of the monument's Romanesque architecture. The cloister, the 18th century rooms and two vaulted rooms have now been renovated, the first is the chapter house, the second, known as the Mérimée room, opens onto a third, transformed into a public passageway after the Revolution. The different periods of the monastery have been respected and harmonised, the contribution of light has been favoured, glass and metal have been used with alternating bands of transparent and translucent glass, worked like a stained glass window. Das Priorat von La Charité war Gegenstand umfangreicher Restaurierungsarbeiten. Heute sind einige Räume fertiggestellt, und die Öffentlichkeit entdeckt oder wiederentdeckt die Schätze der romanischen Architektur des Monuments. Der Kreuzgang, die Säle aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und zwei gewölbte Räume sind nun renoviert. De priorij van La Charité is het onderwerp geweest van een groot restauratieproject. Vandaag zijn bepaalde delen voltooid en ontdekt of herontdekt het publiek de schatten van de romaanse architectuur van het monument. Oggi alcune aree sono state completate e il pubblico sta scoprendo o riscoprendo i tesori dell'architettura romanica del monumento. Il chiostro, le sale del XVIII secolo e due sale a volta sono state ristrutturate: la prima è la sala capitolare, la seconda, nota come sala Mérimée, si apre su una terza, trasformata in passaggio pubblico dopo la Rivoluzione. Le diverse epoche del monastero sono state rispettate e armonizzate, ponendo l'accento sulla luce, sul vetro e sul metallo, alternando strisce di vetro trasparente e traslucido, lavorate come vetrate.
