La piscine est un chef d'oeuvre de styleArt Déco. Conçue par l'architecte Paul Hanote, sa forme de paquebots'inspire des grands transatlantiques d'avant guerre. Unique en Francedans ce style, la Piscine Art Déco accueille encore les baigneurs durantla période estivale.Le site a subi des travaux en 2010 et 2011 pourune rénovation à l'identique. Suite à cela, Yann Kersalé, plasticien dela lumière, a créé un parcours géo-poétique lumineux à découvrir à latombée de la nuit. Visites guidées nocturnes et théâtralisées organisées par l'office de tourisme.

The Stade Parc and its open-air swimming pool were created in 1936, offering for the first time a place for miners to relax, leisure and meetings. The swimming pool is a masterpiece of Art Deco style. Designed by the architect Paul Hanote, the shape of its liners was inspired by the great pre-war transatlantic liners. Unique in France in this style, the Art Deco swimming pool still welcomes swimmers during the summer period. The site underwent work in 2010 and 2011 for an identical renovation. Following this, Yann Kersalé, a light artist, has created a geo-poetic and luminous path to discover at nightfall. Guided tours at night and dramatized tours organized by the tourist office.

Das Stade Parc und sein Freibad wurden 1936 gegründet und boten den Bergarbeitern zum ersten Mal einen Ort der Entspannung, der Freizeit und der Begegnung. Das Schwimmbad ist ein Meisterwerk im Art-Déco-Stil. Es wurde von dem Architekten Paul Hanote entworfen und ist in seiner Form an die großen Transatlantikschiffe der Vorkriegszeit angelehnt.
