Fort de l'Estissac – Hyères

Construit sous Richelieu entre 1633 et 1637, ce fort a été édifié pour faire face à la menace espagnole qui régnait alors sur les côtes provençales. Le fort abrite aujourd'hui une exposition ouverte au public pendant la saison estivale.

Built between 1633 and 1637, this fort was built to counter Spanish threat which was pervasive on provencal coasts at that time. Nowadays, the fort houses an exhibition which is open to the public in summer.

Das Fort wurde unter Richelieu zwischen 1633 und 1637 erbaut, um der spanischen Bedrohung zu begegnen, die damals an der provenzalischen Küste herrschte. Heute beherbergt das Fort eine Ausstellung, die während der Sommersaison für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist.

Het fort werd gebouwd onder Richelieu tussen 1633 en 1637 om de Spaanse dreiging voor de Provençaalse kust tegen te gaan. Het fort herbergt nu een tentoonstelling die tijdens het zomerseizoen open is voor het publiek.

Construido bajo el mandato de Richelieu entre 1633 y 1637, el fuerte se levantó para contrarrestar la amenaza española sobre la costa provenzal. En la actualidad, el fuerte alberga una exposición abierta al público durante la temporada de verano.

Costruito sotto Richelieu tra il 1633 e il 1637, questo forte è stato edificato per affrontare la minaccia spagnola che in questo periodo regnava sulle coste provenzali. Al giorno di oggi, il forte ospita una mostra aperta al pubblico durante la stagione estiva.
