Église Saint-Vorles – Châtillon-sur-Seine

Campée sur un promontoire rocheux au pied duquel jaillit la source de la Douix, c'est une belle et sobre église aux arcatures lombardes construite au début du XIème siècle. La chapelle souterraine est consacrée à Saint-Bernard qui y eut sa vision mystique de la lactation. À noter, le groupe sculpté du Saint Sépulcre, chef-d’œuvre du XVIème siècle et un diptyque du XVIème siècle, seul témoignage de la ville de Châtillon-sur-Seine à la même époque.

Built on a rocky promontory at the foot of which the Douix spring gushes out, it is a beautiful and sober church with Lombardy arcatures built at the beginning of the 11th century. The underground chapel is dedicated to Saint-Bernard who had his mystical vision of lactation there. Note the sculpted group of the Holy Sepulchre, a 16th century masterpiece, and a 16th century diptych, the only evidence of the town of Châtillon-sur-Seine at the same time.

Die auf einem Felsvorsprung gelegene Kirche, an deren Fuß die Douix-Quelle entspringt, ist eine schöne und schlichte Kirche mit lombardischen Bögen, die Anfang des 11. Jahrhunderts erbaut wurde. Die unterirdische Kapelle ist dem Heiligen Bernhard gewidmet, der hier seine mystische Vision der Milchbildung hatte. Bemerkenswert sind die geschnitzte Gruppe des Heiligen Grabes, ein Meisterwerk aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, und ein Diptychon aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, das einzige Zeugnis der Stadt Châtillon-sur-Seine aus der gleichen Zeit.

Gelegen op een rotsachtig voorgebergte aan de voet waarvan de Douix-bron ontspringt, is het een mooie en sobere kerk met Lombardische arceringen, gebouwd in het begin van de 11e eeuw. De ondergrondse kapel is gewijd aan Sint-Bernard, die er zijn mystieke visioen van borstvoeding kreeg. Let op de gebeeldhouwde groep van het Heilig Graf, een meesterwerk uit de 16e eeuw, en een diptiek uit de 16e eeuw, het enige bewijs van de stad Châtillon-sur-Seine in die tijd.

Situada en un promontorio rocoso al pie del cual brota el manantial de Douix, es una hermosa y sobria iglesia con arcadas lombardas construida a principios del siglo XI. La capilla subterránea está dedicada a San Bernardo, que tuvo allí su visión mística de la lactancia. Obsérvese el grupo escultórico del Santo Sepulcro, obra maestra del siglo XVI, y un díptico del siglo XVI, único testimonio de la ciudad de Châtillon-sur-Seine en la misma época.

Situata su un promontorio roccioso ai piedi del quale sgorga la sorgente Douix, è una bella e sobria chiesa con arcate lombarde costruita all'inizio dell'XI secolo. La cappella sotterranea è dedicata a San Bernardo, che qui ebbe la sua visione mistica della lattazione. Da notare il gruppo scolpito del Santo Sepolcro, capolavoro del XVI secolo, e un dittico del XVI secolo, unica testimonianza della città di Châtillon-sur-Seine nello stesso periodo.
