Eglise Saint-Lucien – Méru

Agrandie et transformée au cours des siècles, l’église Saint-Lucien est un édifice au plan assez complexe. On peut encore voir des traces du bâtiment roman au niveau du clocher, le chœur date du XIIIème siècle. La première altération de son plan est l’ajout au XIV-XVème siècles d’une chapelle seigneuriale, au nord du chœur. Mais c’est au XVIème siècle, que l’église va être profondément transformée, la nef étant alors flanquée de bas-côtés.

Enlarged and transformed over the centuries, the Saint-Lucien church is a building with a rather complex plan. Traces of the Romanesque building can still be seen at the level of the bell tower, the choir dates from the 13th century. The first alteration of its plan is the addition in the XIV-XVth centuries of a seigneurial chapel to the north of the choir. But it was in the 16th century that the church was profoundly transformed, the nave being then flanked by aisles.

Die Kirche Saint-Lucien, die im Laufe der Jahrhunderte vergrößert und umgebaut wurde, ist ein Gebäude mit einem recht komplexen Grundriss. Am Glockenturm sind noch Spuren des romanischen Gebäudes zu erkennen, der Chor stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Die erste Veränderung des Grundrisses ist die Hinzufügung einer herrschaftlichen Kapelle nördlich des Chors im 14. und 15. Im 16. Jahrhundert wurde die Kirche jedoch grundlegend umgebaut.

De kerk van Saint-Lucien, die in de loop der eeuwen is uitgebreid en getransformeerd, is een tamelijk complex gebouw. Sporen van het Romaanse gebouw zijn nog te zien in de klokkentoren, en het koor dateert uit de 13e eeuw. De eerste wijziging van de plattegrond was de toevoeging van een seigneuriale kapel ten noorden van het koor in de 14e-15e eeuw. Maar het was in de 16e eeuw dat de kerk een grondige verandering onderging, waarbij het schip werd geflankeerd door zijbeuken.

Ampliada y transformada a lo largo de los siglos, la iglesia de Saint-Lucien es un edificio de planta bastante compleja. En el campanario aún se aprecian vestigios del edificio románico, y el coro data del siglo XIII. La primera modificación de su planta fue la adición de una capilla señorial al norte del coro en los siglos XIV y XV. Pero fue en el siglo XVI cuando la iglesia se transformó profundamente, quedando la nave flanqueada por pasillos.

Ampliata e trasformata nel corso dei secoli, la chiesa di Saint-Lucien è un edificio dalla pianta piuttosto complessa. Tracce dell'edificio romanico sono ancora visibili nel campanile, mentre il coro risale al XIII secolo. La prima modifica alla sua pianta fu l'aggiunta di una cappella signorile a nord del coro nel XIV-XV secolo. Ma è nel XVI secolo che la chiesa fu profondamente trasformata: la navata centrale fu affiancata da navate laterali.
