Église Saint-Denis – Meilhac

Cette église du XVe siècle a subi plusieurs modifications, probablement à cause de pillages et d'incendies. Vue du ciel, elle n'arbore pas le traditionnel plan en croix latine puisqu'un avant-toit forme une sorte de préau entre la nef et la chapelle nord. À l'intérieur, une seule travée a gardé sa voûte d'ogives originelle et sa clef de voute à fleur de lys. Le transept n'en est pas un, ce sont en réalité deux chapelles. Au sol, vous trouvez de nombreuses pierres funéraires, dont l'une appartenant à un abbé.

This 15th-century church has undergone several modifications, probably as a result of looting and fire. Seen from the air, it doesn't have the traditional Latin cross plan, with an eaves forming a sort of courtyard between the nave and the north chapel. Inside, only one bay has retained its original ribbed vault and fleur-de-lis keystone. The transept is not a transept, but two chapels. On the floor, you'll find a number of funerary stones, including one belonging to an abbot.

Diese Kirche aus dem 15. Jahrhundert wurde mehrmals umgebaut, wahrscheinlich aufgrund von Plünderungen und Bränden. Aus der Luft betrachtet weist sie nicht den traditionellen Grundriss eines lateinischen Kreuzes auf, da ein Vordach eine Art Vorhof zwischen dem Kirchenschiff und der Nordkapelle bildet. Im Inneren hat nur ein einziges Joch sein ursprüngliches Kreuzrippengewölbe und den Schlussstein mit der Lilie behalten. Das Querschiff ist kein Querschiff, sondern besteht aus zwei Kapellen.
