Description
L'église remonte à la fin du 11ème s, début 12ème s. La découverte de sarcophages mérovingiens témoigne de sa construction sur une ancienne nécropole mérovingienne.
Accolée à l'édifice, l'imposante tour clocher de forme "carré" est surmontée d'une flèche en ardoise.
La nef est séparée des bas-côtés par des arcades qui reposent sur de solides colonnes. Une voute lambrissée en forme de carène de bateau renversé complète cette nef.
Deux chapelles ont été aménagées de part et d'autre du transept, l'une dédiée à La Vierge et l'autre au Sacré Coeur. Une troisième chapelle au sud est dédiée Notre Dame de Pitié. Une sacristie est ajoutée en 1824.
Le chœur, construit en 1605 est l'œuvre d'un maitre maçon de St Aubin des Coudrais. Le retable du chœur date de 1700 et est inscrit aux Monuments Historiques. Le maitre-autel en marbre est de 1646.
Dans le mobilier, on trouve également deux dossiers de bancs du 17ème s. et une statuaire assez intéressante du 19ème s.
Les chapiteaux des colonnes sont de style roman et représentent principalement des décors végétaux.
A noter également de beaux vitraux qui datent de la fin du 19ème s, sauf celui à droite de l'entrée qui a été réalisé en 2005.

Among the furnishings, there are also two 17th century pew backs and a rather interesting 19th century statuary
The capitals of the columns are in the Romanesque style and represent mainly vegetal decorations.
There are also beautiful stained glass windows dating from the end of the 19th century, except for the one on the right of the entrance which was made in 2005.

Der 1605 erbaute Chor ist das Werk eines Maurermeisters aus St Aubin des Coudrais. Der Altaraufsatz im Chor stammt aus dem Jahr 1700 und ist in die Liste der historischen Monumente eingetragen. Der Hochaltar aus Marmor stammt aus dem Jahr 1646

Die Kapitelle der Säulen sind im romanischen Stil gehalten und stellen hauptsächlich pflanzliche Dekorationen dar.
Bemerkenswert sind auch die schönen Glasfenster, die aus dem Ende des 19. Jh. stammen, mit Ausnahme des Fensters rechts vom Eingang, das 2005 angefertigt wurde.

Tra gli arredi, vi sono anche due spalliere di banchi del XVII secolo e una statuetta del XIX secolo piuttosto interessante
I capitelli delle colonne sono in stile romanico e rappresentano principalmente decorazioni vegetali.
Ci sono anche belle vetrate che risalgono alla fine del XIX secolo, tranne quella a destra dell'ingresso, realizzata nel 2005.
