Collégiale d'Uzeste – Uzeste

Très belle collégiale de style gothique, datant du XIVème siècle. Parcours d'interprétation du patrimoine à l'extérieur. Érigé en collégiale par le pape en 1312, cet ancien sanctuaire roman est aujourd'hui le lieu de sépulture de Bertrand de Got, élu pape sous le nom de Clément V. Elle reprend les canons des grandes constructions gothiques d'alors. Le gisant du Pape Clément V est en marbre blanc des Pyrénées, finement sculpté, il est posé sur un haut bahut de marbre noir.

A former collegiate church, now listed as a historical monument, which houses the tomb of Pope Clement V. Treasury Room with precious liturgical objects which belonged to the various churches in the canton of Villandraut. Open all year round from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., guided tours on request. Sehr schöne Stiftskirche im gotischen Stil aus dem 14. Jahrhundert Jahrhundert. Interpretationspfad des Kulturerbes im Außenbereich Dieses ehemalige romanische Heiligtum wurde 1312 vom Papst zur Stiftskirche erhoben und ist heute die Grabstätte von Bertrand de Got, der unter dem Namen Clemens V. zum Papst gewählt wurde. Sie übernimmt den Kanon der großen gotischen Bauwerke der damaligen Zeit. Die Liegefläche von Papst Clemens V. besteht aus weißem Pyrenäenmarmor, ist fein gemeißelt und steht auf einer hohen Truhe aus schwarzem Marmor.
