Château de La Dubrie – Bressuire

Le château actuel est du XVIè siècle. Il présente un système défensif (bâtiments, tour, grand donjon) fait de canonnières pour le tir au mousquet, en raison de l’insécurité liée aux Guerres de Religion entre Protestants et Catholiques. Une ancienne tour a été transformée en chapelle. Un beau pigeonnier de 1 300 boulins et un vivier complètent le domaine.

Dubrie Castle The actual castle dates back to the 16th century. It offers a defensive system (buildings, towers, large keep) made for gunships for musket firing, because of the insecurity linked with the Wars of Religion between the Protestants and Catholics. The old south east tower has been transformed into a chapel. A beautiful dovecot with 1 300 pidgeon holes and a fishpond complete the estate. Free entry. Access. From Bressuire: direction Voulmentin (RD 164), then turn left (after approx. 5km). Dubrie lane (chemin) is 1km on the right.

Das heutige Schloss stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Es weist ein Verteidigungssystem (Gebäude, Turm, großer Bergfried) auf, das aufgrund der Unsicherheit während der Religionskriege zwischen Protestanten und Katholiken mit Kanonenschüssen für Musketen ausgestattet ist. Ein alter Turm wurde in eine Kapelle umgewandelt. Ein schöner Taubenschlag mit 1300 Boulins und ein Fischteich vervollständigen das Anwesen.

Een oude toren is omgebouwd tot kapel. Een prachtige duiventil met 1.300 bouten en een visvijver maken het landgoed compleet.

Una antigua torre ha sido transformada en una capilla. Un hermoso palomar con 1.300 pernos y un estanque completan la finca.

L'attuale castello risale al XVI secolo. Ha un sistema difensivo (edifici, torre, grandi prigioni) con bocche da fuoco per i moschetti, a causa dell'insicurezza causata dalle guerre di religione tra protestanti e cattolici. Un'antica torre è stata trasformata in cappella. Completano la tenuta una splendida colombaia con 1.300 spit e una peschiera.
