The Château de Flée was built in 1760 by King Louis XV. It was lavishly constructed in the Parisian style and became the setting of magnificent receptions held by the royal entourage. For the past twenty years the present owners, Mr. and Mrs Bach, have been and are lovingly and ceaselessly working at restoring the chateau to its former glory. The impressive, completely rebuilt, 18-step, perlod staircase bears witness to the attention that they have paid to detail. Listed since 1983 as a historical monument (18th century) and lying in peaceful, natural surrounding and vast grounds, Chateau de Flée is a most romantic setting, the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Burgundy. 3 The charming accommodation in the Suite “ Marquis de Boulois » and « Marquis de Sainte Maure » A self contained 40 m2 former apartment, situated on the surelevated ground floor of the chateau.
