Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite – Castillon-la-Bataille

Située dans le hameau de Capitourlan, à Castillon-la-Bataille, cette chapelle possède une particularité qui réside dans son orientation. Elle est en effet tournée vers l'Ouest (alors que la plupart des églises sont tournées vers l'Orient, c'est à dire vers l'Est). L'entrée de l'édifice (qui est donc à l'Est) est couronné d'un clocheton. Cette chapelle est dite "cimetériale", car elle est entourée d'un petit cimetière.

Located in the hamlet of Capitourlan, in Castillon-la-Bataille, this chapel has a particularity which lies in its orientation. It is indeed turned towards the West (whereas most churches are turned towards the East). The entrance to the building (which is therefore to the East) is crowned by a bell tower. This chapel is called "cimeterial", because it is surrounded by a small cemetery.

Diese Kapelle befindet sich im Weiler Capitourlan in Castillon-la-Bataille und hat eine Besonderheit, die in ihrer Ausrichtung liegt. Sie ist nämlich nach Westen ausgerichtet (während die meisten Kirchen nach Osten ausgerichtet sind, d. h. nach Osten). Der Eingang des Gebäudes (der sich also im Osten befindet) wird von einem Glockentürmchen gekrönt. Diese Kapelle wird als "cimetériale" bezeichnet, da sie von einem kleinen Friedhof umgeben ist.

Gelegen in het gehucht Capitourlan, in Castillon-la-Bataille, heeft deze kapel een bijzonderheid die ligt in haar oriëntatie. Het is naar het westen gericht (terwijl de meeste kerken naar het oosten zijn gericht). De ingang van het gebouw (dus aan de oostkant) wordt bekroond door een klokkentoren. Deze kapel wordt "cimeteriaal" genoemd, omdat ze omgeven is door een kleine begraafplaats.

Está orientada al oeste (mientras que la mayoría de las iglesias están orientadas al este). La entrada al edificio (que por tanto está al este) está coronada por un campanario. Esta capilla se llama "cimeterial", porque está rodeada de un pequeño cementerio.

È rivolta a ovest (mentre la maggior parte delle chiese è rivolta a est). L'ingresso dell'edificio (che si trova quindi a est) è coronato da un campanile. Questa cappella è chiamata "cimiteriale", perché è circondata da un piccolo cimitero.
