CHAPELLE SAINT PIERRE DE MONTBAZIN – Montbazin

Construite au XIe et XIIe siècles, la chapelle est unique par l'importance de ses fresques romanes (rare dans la région) et surprenante par le passage sous le choeur qui donnait accès au château féodal. Elle renferme divers objets gallo-romains et propose différentes manifestations culturelles (peintures, sculptures, concerts, …) tout au long de l'année.

Built in the 11th and 12th centuries, the chapel is unique because of the importance of its Romanesque frescoes (rare in the region) and surprising because of the passage under the choir that provided access to the feudal château. It contains miscellaneous Gallo-Roman objects and hosts a number of different cultural exhibitions (paintings, sculptures, concerts, etc.) throughout the year.

Die im 11. und 12. Jahrhundert errichtete Kapelle ist wegen ihrer imposanten romanischen Fresken (in der Region selten) einzigartig. Einmalig ist auch der Durchgang unter dem Chor, der zur Lehnsburg führt. Die Kapelle enthält verschiedene gallo-römische Objekte und bietet über das ganze Jahr unterschiedliche Kulturveranstaltungen an (Malerei, Bildhauerei, Konzerte usw.).

De kapel werd gebouwd in de 11e en 12e eeuw en is uniek vanwege de omvang van de romaanse fresco's (zeldzaam in de regio) en verrassend vanwege de doorgang onder het koor die toegang gaf tot het feodale kasteel. De kapel bevat een aantal Gallo-Romeinse artefacten en biedt het hele jaar door verschillende culturele evenementen (schilderijen, beeldhouwwerken, concerten, enz.).

Construida en los siglos XI y XII, la capilla es única por la extensión de sus frescos románicos (poco frecuentes en la región) y sorprendente por el pasadizo bajo el coro que daba acceso al castillo feudal. La capilla alberga numerosos objetos galo-romanos y ofrece a lo largo del año diversas manifestaciones culturales (pinturas, esculturas, conciertos, etc.).

Costruita tra l'XI e il XII secolo, la cappella è unica per l'estensione degli affreschi romanici (rari nella regione) e sorprende per il passaggio sotto il coro che dava accesso al castello feudale. La cappella contiene numerosi reperti gallo-romani e offre una serie di eventi culturali (dipinti, sculture, concerti, ecc.) durante tutto l'anno.
