ANCIENNE MAISON DITE "DU PEIGNON" – Orcevaux

Autrefois habitation rurale d’exploitation, cette maison servit en 1917 de poste de police pour les Américains cantonnés au village, puis de distillerie communale. Après son acquisition en 1980 par la municipalité, celle-ci la transforme en 1984 avec l’aide de la toute nouvelle association « Sports et Loisirs » (créée en 1978) et de bénévoles en Maison du Peuple pour y exercer des activités culturelles, et y réaliser une cuisine. L’année suivante, la municipalité aménage une salle polyvalente dans son prolongement et en 1988, les granges sont démolies pour réaliser la grande halle couverte avec un préau entre les deux qui ne sera, lui, couvert qu’en 2001, conjointement au chantier de pavage la place. L’ensemble à géométrie variable plutôt bien réussi et intégré, sert depuis lors à toutes les manifestations publiques et culturelles locales. Pas de visite : site privé visible uniquement de l'extérieur.

Once a rural dwelling, in 1917 it served as a police station for the Americans stationed in the village, and later as a communal distillery. Acquired by the municipality in 1980, it was transformed in 1984, with the help of the newly-formed "Sports et Loisirs" association (created in 1978) and volunteers, into a Maison du Peuple for cultural activities and a kitchen. The following year, the municipality built a multi-purpose hall in its extension, and in 1988, the barns were demolished to create the large covered hall with a courtyard in between, which was not covered until 2001, when the square was paved. Since then, the well-integrated, variable-geometry complex has been used for all local public and cultural events. Not open to the public: this private site is only visible from the outside.

Das Haus war früher ein ländliches Wohnhaus und diente 1917 als Polizeistation für die im Dorf stationierten Amerikaner und später als kommunale Brennerei. Nachdem es 1980 von der Gemeinde erworben wurde, baute sie es 1984 mit Hilfe des neu gegründeten Vereins "Sports et Loisirs" (gegründet 1978) und Freiwilligen zu einem Volkshaus um, in dem kulturelle Aktivitäten stattfinden und eine Küche eingerichtet wird. Im Jahr darauf richtete die Gemeinde eine Mehrzweckhalle ein und 1988 wurden die Scheunen abgerissen, um eine große überdachte Halle mit einem dazwischen liegenden Pausenhof zu errichten, der erst 2001 überdacht wurde, als der Platz gepflastert wurde. Der Komplex mit variabler Geometrie ist gut gelungen und integriert und dient seither allen öffentlichen und kulturellen Veranstaltungen vor Ort. Keine Besichtigung: Die private Anlage ist nur von außen sichtbar.

Ooit een plattelandswoning, werd het huis in 1917 gebruikt als politiebureau voor de Amerikanen die in het dorp gelegerd waren en later als de plaatselijke distilleerderij. Nadat het in 1980 door de gemeente werd aangekocht, werd het in 1984 met de hulp van de pas opgerichte vereniging "Sports et Loisirs" (opgericht in 1978) en vrijwilligers omgebouwd tot een Maison du Peuple voor culturele activiteiten en een keuken. Het jaar daarop bouwde het gemeentebestuur een polyvalente zaal in de uitbreiding en in 1988 werden de schuren afgebroken om een grote overdekte zaal te creëren met een binnenplaats ertussen, die pas in 2001 werd overdekt, toen het plein werd geplaveid. Sindsdien wordt het complex gebruikt voor allerlei lokale openbare en culturele evenementen. Niet te bezoeken: privéterrein alleen zichtbaar van buitenaf.

Tras ser adquirida por el ayuntamiento en 1980, se transformó en 1984, con la ayuda de la recién creada asociación "Sports et Loisirs" (fundada en 1978) y de voluntarios, en una Maison du Peuple para actividades culturales y una cocina. Al año siguiente, el ayuntamiento construyó una sala polivalente en su ampliación y, en 1988, se demolieron los graneros para crear una gran sala cubierta con un patio intermedio, que no se cubrió hasta 2001, cuando se pavimentó la plaza. Desde entonces, el complejo se ha utilizado para todo tipo de actos públicos y culturales locales. No se puede visitar: recinto privado sólo visible desde el exterior.

L'anno successivo, il Comune ha costruito una sala polivalente nella sua estensione e nel 1988 i fienili sono stati demoliti per creare una grande sala coperta con un cortile intermedio, che non è stato coperto fino al 2001, quando la piazza è stata pavimentata. Da allora, il complesso è stato utilizzato per tutti i tipi di eventi pubblici e culturali locali. Non è possibile visitarlo: sito privato visibile solo dall'esterno.
