Ferme-auberge du Haag – Geishouse

Lieu d'étape sur le GR5, la ferme-auberge propose le couvert à l'image des refuges de haute montagne…avant l'ascension du Grand Ballon et ses 1424 mètres. Mais nous sommes bien dans une ferme vosgienne, et les Alpes ne se dévoilent que par temps clair. Accès par la route: sur la route des Crêtes à proximité du Grand Ballon. Par la vallée de Thann, accès par Willer-sur-Thur et Grand Ballon ou par la route forestière depuis Geishouse (route avec beaucoup de nids de poule). Accès à pied: Geishouse (2h) – Linthal (3h) Randonnées: Grand Ballon (25 min) – Storckenkopf (20 min) – lac du Ballon (30 min) – Roedelen (40 min) – Markstein (1h30). Le couvert : Fleischschnackas, pot au feu, tarte munster poireau + crudités, flan maison, fromage blanc au kirsch, tarte aux myrtilles. L'auberge peut accueillir 40 convives. Loisirs d'été: pêche au lac du Ballon (1.5 km), circuits VTT. Loisirs d'hiver : ski de fond sur place, raquettes, … En hiver, aucun accès en voiture.

As a stopover on the GR5, the farmhouse offers food and drink just like the high mountain refuges… before the ascent of the Grand Ballon and its 1424 meters. But we are in a Vosges farm, and the Alps are only revealed by clear weather. Access by road: on the route des Crêtes near the Grand Ballon. By the valley of Thann, access by Willer-sur-Thur and Grand Ballon or by the forest road from Geishouse (road with many potholes). Access on foot: Geishouse (2h) – Linthal (3h) Hiking: Grand Ballon (25 min) – Storckenkopf (20 min) – Lac du Ballon (30 min) – Roedelen (40 min) – Markstein (1h30). Food : Fleischschnackas, pot au feu, munster leek pie + crudités, home made flan, fromage blanc with kirsch, blueberry pie. The inn can accommodate 40 guests. Summer leisure activities: fishing at the Ballon lake (1.5 km), mountain bike circuits. Winter activities : cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, … In winter, no access by car.

Als Etappenort auf dem GR5 bietet der Bauernhof-Gasthof ein Gedeck wie eine Berghütte im Hochgebirge… bevor Sie den Grand Ballon mit seinen 1424 Metern erklimmen. Wir befinden uns jedoch auf einem Bauernhof in den Vogesen, und die Alpen zeigen sich nur bei klarem Wetter. Anfahrt mit dem Auto: Auf der Route des Crêtes in der Nähe des Grand Ballon. Durch das Thann-Tal, Zufahrt über Willer-sur-Thur und den Grand Ballon oder über die Forststraße ab Geishouse (Straße mit vielen Schlaglöchern). Zugang zu Fuß: Geishouse (2h) – Linthal (3h) Wanderungen: Grand Ballon (25 min) – Storckenkopf (20 min) – Lac du Ballon (30 min) – Roedelen (40 min) – Markstein (1h30). Gedeck: Fleischschnackas, Pot au feu, Münstertorte mit Lauch und Rohkost, hausgemachter Flan, Quark mit Kirschwasser, Heidelbeerkuchen. Das Gasthaus bietet Platz für 40 Gäste. Freizeitaktivitäten im Sommer: Angeln am Lac du Ballon (1,5 km), Mountainbike-Routen. Freizeitaktivitäten im Winter: Langlauf vor Ort, Schneeschuhwanderungen, … Im Winter keine Zufahrt mit dem Auto.

Als tussenstop op de GR5 biedt de boerenherberg eten en drinken aan, net als de schuilplaatsen in het hooggebergte… vóór de beklimming van de Grand Ballon en zijn 1424 meter. Maar we zijn inderdaad in een Vogezen boerderij, en de Alpen zijn alleen zichtbaar op een heldere dag. Toegang via de weg: op de route des Crêtes in de buurt van de Grand Ballon. Vanuit het dal van de Thann, toegang via Willer-sur-Thur en Grand Ballon of via de bosweg vanuit Geishouse (weg met veel kuilen). Bereikbaarheid te voet: Geishouse (2u) – Linthal (3u) Wandelen: Grand Ballon (25 min) – Storckenkopf (20 min) – Lac du Ballon (30 min) – Roedelen (40 min) – Markstein (1u30). Eten: Fleischschnackas, pot au feu, munster preitaart + crudités, zelfgemaakte vlaai, fromage blanc met kirsch, bosbessentaart. De herberg biedt plaats aan 40 gasten. Vrijetijdsbesteding in de zomer: vissen in het meer van Ballon (1,5 km), mountainbikeroutes. Winteractiviteiten: langlaufen ter plaatse, sneeuwschoenwandelen, … In de winter geen toegang met de auto.

Pero estamos en una granja de los Vosgos, y los Alpes sólo se revelan en un día claro. Acceso por carretera: en la ruta de las Crêtes, cerca del Grand Ballon. Desde el valle de Thann, acceso por Willer-sur-Thur y Grand Ballon o por la carretera forestal de Geishouse (carretera con muchos baches). Acceso a pie: Geishouse (2h) – Linthal (3h) Senderismo: Grand Ballon (25 min) – Storckenkopf (20 min) – Lac du Ballon (30 min) – Roedelen (40 min) – Markstein (1h30). Comida: Fleischschnackas, pot au feu, pastel de puerros de Munster + crudités, flan casero, fromage blanc con kirsch, pastel de arándanos. La posada tiene capacidad para 40 huéspedes. Actividades de ocio en verano: pesca en el lago Ballon (1,5 km), circuitos de bicicleta de montaña. Actividades de invierno: esquí de fondo in situ, raquetas de nieve, … En invierno, no se puede acceder en coche.

Come tappa del GR5, l'ostello della fattoria offre cibo e bevande proprio come i rifugi di alta montagna… prima dell'ascesa al Grand Ballon e ai suoi 1424 metri. Ma siamo in una fattoria dei Vosgi e le Alpi si vedono solo nelle giornate limpide. Accesso stradale: sulla route des Crêtes, vicino al Grand Ballon. Dalla valle del Thann, accesso via Willer-sur-Thur e Grand Ballon o attraverso la strada forestale da Geishouse (strada con molte buche). Accesso a piedi: Geishouse (2h) – Linthal (3h) Escursioni: Grand Ballon (25 min) – Storckenkopf (20 min) – Lac du Ballon (30 min) – Roedelen (40 min) – Markstein (1h30). Cibo: Fleischschnackas, pot au feu, tortino di porri munster + crudités, flan fatto in casa, fromage blanc con kirsch, torta di mirtilli. La locanda può ospitare 40 persone. Attività estive: pesca al lago Ballon (1,5 km), circuiti per mountain bike. Attività invernali: sci di fondo in loco, escursioni con le racchette da neve, … In inverno non è possibile accedere in auto.
