Du 19 septembre au 29 novembre : PÂLIS – Exposition : "Mesures de lumière", Daphne Gamble, Robert Grosborne, Anna Mark. Les mercredis, samedis et dimanches de 15 h à 18 h. L’architecture inspire ces artistes. On pourrait la nommer « une architecture des commencements » parce qu’elle se fonde sur des principes de construction et d’abstraction du XXe siècle ; mais aussi parce qu’elle crée des lieux ouverts à la lumière et à la mémoire. Lignes, formes, matières, noir et blanc, couleurs tracent un chemin vers une simplicité qu’on pourrait dire parfois sans âge. Damiers et pavements, arcs, seuils et passages… L’abstraction de ces œuvres patientes n’exclut pas le mystère et l’émotion, l’intimité. En réunissant au Tournefou ces trois artistes, une exposition ne nous propose-t-elle pas un « enclos de lumière », un journal de la lumière et des ombres ? From September 19 to November 29: PÂLIS – Exhibition: "Measures of Light," Daphne Gamble, Robert Grosborne, Anna Mark. Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3 pm to 6 pm. Architecture inspires these artists. It could be called "an architecture of beginnings" because it is based on 20th-century principles of construction and abstraction; but also because it creates spaces open to light and memory. Lines, forms, materials, black and white, colors trace a path toward a simplicity that could sometimes be described as timeless. Checkerboards and pavements, arches, thresholds, and passageways… The abstraction of these patient works does not exclude mystery, emotion, or intimacy. By bringing these three artists together at Le Tournefou, doesn't this exhibition offer us an "enclosure of light," a journal of light and shadows? Architektur inspiriert diese Künstler. Man könnte sie als „Architektur der Anfänge“ bezeichnen, da sie auf Konstruktions- und Abstraktionsprinzipien des 20. Jahrhunderts basiert, aber auch, weil sie Räume schafft, die Licht und Erinnerung willkommen heißen. Linien, Formen, Materialien, Schwarz und Weiß, Farben weisen den Weg zu einer Einfachheit, die man mitunter als zeitlos bezeichnen könnte. Schachbrettmuster und Pflaster, Bögen, Schwellen und Durchgänge … Die Abstraktion dieser sorgfältig ausgeführten Werke schließt weder Geheimnis, Emotion noch Intimität aus. Bietet uns diese Ausstellung, die diese drei Künstler im Le Tournefou zusammenbringt, nicht einen „Lichtraum“, ein Tagebuch von Licht und Schatten? Sie öffnet uns die Türen zu existenzieller Tiefe. Architectuur is een inspiratiebron voor deze kunstenaars. Je zou het "een architectuur van het begin" kunnen noemen, omdat het gebaseerd is op 20e-eeuwse bouw- en abstractieprincipes; maar ook omdat het ruimtes creëert die openstaan voor licht en herinnering. Lijnen, vormen, materialen, zwart-wit en kleuren leiden naar een eenvoud die soms tijdloos genoemd kan worden. Schaakborden en bestratingen, bogen, drempels en doorgangen… De abstractie van deze geduldige werken sluit mysterie, emotie en intimiteit niet uit. Biedt deze tentoonstelling, door deze drie kunstenaars samen te brengen in Le Tournefou, ons niet een "omhulsel van licht", een dagboek van licht en schaduw? La arquitectura inspira a estos artistas. Se podría denominar «una arquitectura de los comienzos» porque se basa en los principios de construcción y abstracción del siglo XX; pero también porque crea espacios abiertos a la luz y a la memoria. Líneas, formas, materiales, blanco y negro, colores trazan un camino hacia una sencillez que, en ocasiones, podríamos calificar de atemporal. Cuadrículos y pavimentos, arcos, umbrales y pasadizos… La abstracción de estas «obras pacientes» no excluye el misterio, la emoción ni la intimidad. Al reunir a estos tres artistas en Le Tournefou, ¿no nos propone esta exposición un «recinto de luz», un diario de la luz y las sombras? L'architettura ispira questi artisti. Potrebbe essere definita "un'architettura degli inizi" perché si basa sui principi costruttivi e di astrazione del XX secolo, ma anche perché crea spazi aperti alla luce e alla memoria. Linee, forme, materiali, bianco e nero, colori tracciano un percorso verso una semplicità che a volte potrebbe essere descritta come senza tempo. Scacchiere e pavimentazioni, archi, soglie e passaggi… L'astrazione di queste pazienti opere non esclude mistero, emozione o intimità. Riunendo questi tre artisti a Le Tournefou, questa mostra non ci offre forse un "recinto di luce", un diario di luci e ombre? Apre le porte a una profondità esistenziale per ognuno di noi.
