À partir d’une sélection de motifs issus de l’artisanat textile et de la vannerie, le stagiaire va en extraire sa propre texture mosaïque. Il est d’abord accompagné dans le processus de création d’un carton (modèle à l’échelle 1 de la future mosaïque). Pour transcrire son carton en mosaïque, le stagiaire va jouer avec les différentes matières, aspect mat ou brillant, rugueux ou lisse, avec l’inclinaison des tesselles, leur hauteur, leur couleur et créer ainsi un véritable tissage minéral. Using a selection of motifs from textile and basketry crafts, the trainee will extract their own mosaic texture. They will first be guided through the process of creating a cardboard box (a 1:1 scale model of the future mosaic). To transcribe their cardboard into a mosaic, the trainee will play with the different materials, matt or shiny, rough or smooth, with the inclination of the tesserae, their height, their colour and so create a real mineral weave. Ausgehend von einer Auswahl an Motiven aus dem Textil- und Korbflechterhandwerk wird der Praktikant seine eigene Mosaiktextur extrahieren. Zunächst wird er bei der Erstellung eines Kartons (Modell im Maßstab 1:1 des zukünftigen Mosaiks) unterstützt. Um seinen Karton in ein Mosaik umzusetzen, spielt der Kursteilnehmer mit den verschiedenen Materialien, dem matten oder glänzenden, rauen oder glatten Aussehen, der Neigung der Mosaiksteine, ihrer Höhe und ihrer Farbe und schafft so ein echtes mineralisches Gewebe. Met behulp van een selectie motieven uit de wereld van textiel en mandenmakerij creëert de cursist zijn eigen mozaïektextuur. Ze worden eerst begeleid bij het maken van een kartonnen doos (een 1:1 schaalmodel van het toekomstige mozaïek). Om het karton om te zetten in een mozaïek, zal de cursist spelen met de verschillende materialen, mat of glanzend, ruw of glad, met de helling van de tesserae, hun hoogte en hun kleur, waardoor een echt mineraal weefsel ontstaat. Primero se le guiará en el proceso de creación de una caja de cartón (un modelo a escala 1:1 del futuro mosaico). Para transcribir el cartón en un mosaico, el alumno jugará con los diferentes materiales, mates o brillantes, rugosos o lisos, con la inclinación de las teselas, su altura y su color, creando una verdadera trama mineral. Utilizzando una selezione di motivi tratti dall'artigianato tessile e cestistico, il corsista ricaverà la propria texture per il mosaico. In primo luogo saranno guidati nel processo di creazione di una scatola di cartone (un modello in scala 1:1 del futuro mosaico). Per trascrivere il cartone in un mosaico, l'apprendista giocherà con i diversi materiali, opachi o lucidi, ruvidi o lisci, con l'inclinazione delle tessere, la loro altezza e il loro colore, creando un vero e proprio intreccio minerale.
