WAY OF FIVE a été créé en 2020 sous l'impulsion de Kamel SLIMI qui a réuni autour de lui d'autres musiciens tout aussi passionnés, amoureux du groove et de bons sons. En effet, la formation évolue dans un style funk, soul et jazz-funk. Le groupe ainsi crée, « les cinq acolytes dans le vent » façonnent leurs compositions au gré de leurs inspirations et leur amour qu'ils ont pour la musique noire américaine dont les influences vont de James Brown à Herbie Hancock en passant par Michael Jackson, Stevie de Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, Lalo | Schifrin, Roy Ayers… et les musiques groovy des films et séries télés des 70's. Depuis, le quintet écume les scènes afin partager sa musique, dansante, un brin nostalgique, toujours avec classe et Énergie.

WAY OF FIVE was founded in 2020 under the impetus of Kamel SLIMI, who gathered around him other equally passionate musicians, lovers of groove and good sounds. The band's style is funk, soul and jazz-funk. Since then, the quintet has been touring the world, sharing their danceable, nostalgic music with class and energy.

WAY OF FIVE wurde 2020 auf Anregung von Kamel SLIMI gegründet, der andere Musiker um sich versammelt hat, die ebenso leidenschaftlich sind und den Groove und gute Klänge lieben. Die Band bewegt sich nämlich in den Stilrichtungen Funk, Soul und Jazz-Funk. Die Einflüsse reichen von James Brown und Herbie Hancock über Michael Jackson, Stevie de Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, Lalo Schifrin, Roy Ayers… bis hin zu den groovigen Filmen und Fernsehserien der 70er Jahre. Seitdem ist das Quintett auf den Bühnen unterwegs, um seine tanzbare, nostalgische Musik mit Klasse und Energie zu teilen.

WAY OF FIVE werd in 2020 opgericht onder impuls van Kamel SLIMI, die een groep even gepassioneerde muzikanten samenbracht met een voorliefde voor groove en goede sounds. De stijl van de band is funk, soul en jazz-funk. De groep die zo ontstond, "de vijf acolieten in de wind" vormen hun composities volgens hun inspiraties en hun liefde voor zwarte Amerikaanse muziek waarvan de invloeden variëren van James Brown tot Herbie Hancock via Michael Jackson, Stevie de Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, Lalo Schifrin, Roy Ayers… en de groovy muziek van films en tv-series uit de jaren 70. Sindsdien toert het kwintet de wereld rond om hun dansbare, nostalgische muziek met klasse en energie te delen.

Desde entonces, el quinteto ha estado de gira por todo el mundo, compartiendo su música bailable y nostálgica con clase y energía.

I WAY OF FIVE si sono formati nel 2020 sotto l'impulso di Kamel SLIMI, che ha riunito un gruppo di musicisti altrettanto appassionati con l'amore per il groove e i buoni suoni. Lo stile del gruppo è funk, soul e jazz-funk.
