Depuis ses débuts en 1997, sous le pseudonyme de Yuri Cardinal, Éric Le Vergé explore l’art post-internet, un champ où se mêlent appropriation, détournement et réflexion sur les grands enjeux contemporains : information, surveillance, écologie et géopolitique. Cette résidence à Superflux sera l’occasion pour lui de tisser des liens entre la musique et les arts plastiques, deux domaines essentiels de son parcours. Yuri Cardinal nous dévoile ainsi son projet : « Dans le cadre de cette résidence, je souhaite approfondir l'interaction entre arts visuels et sonores, en m'inspirant des multiples échanges et influences propres à l’univers de Superflux. Mon travail prendra la forme d'une exploration pluridisciplinaire entre installations visuelles et expérimentations sonores, où chaque geste créatif tissera un lien avec le lieu et ses contextes. » Florian Stéphant investira le Studio 25. Graphiste, vidéaste et musicien, Florian Stéphant explore les relations entre image, son et texte dans ses créations. Au cours de cette résidence, il propose une expérience immersive où le son et l’image se répondront et se confronteront. Il nous partage son projet : « À Bazouges-la-Pérouse, je réaliserai des enregistrements sonores, que je diffuserai à l'aide d'un magnétophone à bande. Le fil magnétique, en mouvement constant sur les murs, parcourra l’espace de l’exposition et se reliera à des dessins et des mots, créant un dialogue visuel et sonore. Chaque segment de bande, en se déplaçant sur ce parcours, viendra enrichir l'imaginaire de l'audience en jouant sur le rapport entre le son, l'image et le contexte. » Les ateliers des artistes et les espaces d'exposition seront ouverts au public les samedis et dimanches de 15h à 18h. Since his debut in 1997, under the pseudonym Yuri Cardinal, Éric Le Vergé has been exploring post-internet art, a field that combines appropriation, misappropriation and reflection on major contemporary issues: information, surveillance, ecology and geopolitics. This residency at Superflux will be an opportunity for him to forge links between music and the visual arts, two essential areas of his career. Yuri Cardinal explains his project: "As part of this residency, I'd like to explore the interaction between the visual and sound arts, drawing inspiration from the multiple exchanges and influences inherent in the Superflux universe. My work will take the form of a multidisciplinary exploration between visual installations and sound experiments, where each creative gesture will weave a link with the site and its contexts." Florian Stéphant will take over Studio 25. Graphic designer, video artist and musician, Florian Stéphant explores the relationship between image, sound and text in his creations. During this residency, he proposes an immersive experience where sound and image respond to and confront each other. He shares his project with us: "In Bazouges-la-Pérouse, I'll be making sound recordings, which I'll broadcast using a tape recorder. The magnetic wire, in constant motion on the walls, will run through the exhibition space and link up with drawings and words, creating a visual and aural dialogue. Each segment of tape, as it moves along this path, will enrich the audience's imagination by playing on the relationship between sound, image and context." Seit seinen Anfängen 1997 unter dem Pseudonym Yuri Cardinal erforscht Éric Le Vergé die Post-Internet-Kunst, ein Feld, in dem sich Aneignung, Zweckentfremdung und Reflexion über die großen Herausforderungen unserer Zeit vermischen: Information, Überwachung, Ökologie und Geopolitik. Sein Aufenthalt bei Superflux bietet ihm die Gelegenheit, Verbindungen zwischen Musik und bildender Kunst zu knüpfen, zwei wesentliche Bereiche seines Werdegangs. Yuri Cardinal über sein Projekt: "Im Rahmen dieses Aufenthalts möchte ich die Interaktion zwischen visuellen und akustischen Künsten vertiefen und mich dabei von den vielfältigen Austauschbeziehungen und Einflüssen inspirieren lassen, die für die Welt von Superflux typisch sind. Meine Arbeit wird die Form einer multidisziplinären Erkundung zwischen visuellen Installationen und Klangexperimenten annehmen, bei der jede kreative Geste eine Verbindung mit dem Ort und seinen Kontexten herstellt." Florian Stéphant wird in das Studio 25 einziehen. Der Grafiker, Videokünstler und Musiker Florian Stéphant erforscht in seinen Kreationen die Beziehungen zwischen Bild, Ton und Text. Im Rahmen seiner Residenz schlägt er eine immersive Erfahrung vor, bei der Ton und Bild aufeinander reagieren und sich gegenseitig konfrontieren. Er teilt uns sein Projekt mit: "In Bazouges-la-Pérouse werde ich Tonaufnahmen machen, die ich mithilfe eines Tonbandgeräts abspielen werde. Der magnetische Draht, der sich ständig an den Wänden bewegt, wird durch den Ausstellungsraum laufen und sich mit Zeichnungen und Worten verbinden, wodurch ein visueller und akustischer Dialog entsteht. Jedes Bandsegment, das sich auf diesem Weg bewegt, wird die Vorstellungskraft des Publikums bereichern, indem es mit der Beziehung zwischen Ton, Bild und Kontext spielt." Yuri Cardinal licht zijn project als volgt toe: "Als onderdeel van deze residentie wil ik de interactie tussen beeldende kunst en geluidskunst onderzoeken, waarbij ik me laat inspireren door de vele uitwisselingen en invloeden die inherent zijn aan het Superflux-universum. Mijn werk zal de vorm aannemen van een multidisciplinaire verkenning van visuele installaties en geluidsexperimenten, waarbij elk creatief gebaar een link zal leggen met de site en zijn context Florian Stéphant neemt Studio 25 over. Florian Stéphant is grafisch ontwerper, videokunstenaar en muzikant die in zijn werk de relatie tussen beeld, geluid en tekst onderzoekt. Tijdens deze residentie biedt hij een meeslepende ervaring waarin beeld en geluid op elkaar reageren en elkaar confronteren. Hij vertelt ons over zijn project: "In Bazouges-la-Pérouse maak ik geluidsopnames die ik uitzend met een bandrecorder. De magnetische draad, die constant over de muren beweegt, loopt door de tentoonstellingsruimte en sluit aan op tekeningen en woorden, waardoor een visuele en auditieve dialoog ontstaat. Elk segment van de tape, terwijl het langs dit pad beweegt, zal de verbeelding van het publiek verrijken door te spelen met de relatie tussen geluid, beeld en context" De ateliers en tentoonstellingsruimtes van de kunstenaars zijn open voor het publiek op zaterdag en zondag van 15.00 tot 18.00 uur. Esta residencia en Superflux le brindará la oportunidad de establecer vínculos entre la música y las artes visuales, dos ámbitos esenciales de su carrera. Yuri Cardinal explica así su proyecto: "En el marco de esta residencia, quiero explorar la interacción entre las artes visuales y sonoras, inspirándome en los múltiples intercambios e influencias inherentes al universo Superflux. Mi trabajo adoptará la forma de una exploración multidisciplinar de instalaciones visuales y experimentos sonoros, en la que cada gesto creativo tejerá un vínculo con el lugar y sus contextos Florian Stéphant se hará cargo del Studio 25. Florian Stéphant es un diseñador gráfico, videoartista y músico que explora en su obra la relación entre imagen, sonido y texto. Durante esta residencia ofrecerá una experiencia inmersiva en la que sonido e imagen se responderán y confrontarán mutuamente. Nos habla de su proyecto: "En Bazouges-la-Pérouse, realizaré grabaciones sonoras que transmitiré con un magnetófono. El hilo magnético, en constante movimiento en las paredes, recorrerá el espacio de exposición y se enlazará con dibujos y palabras, creando un diálogo visual y auditivo. Cada segmento de cinta, al desplazarse por este camino, enriquecerá la imaginación del público jugando con la relación entre sonido, imagen y contexto" Los estudios de los artistas y los espacios de exposición estarán abiertos al público los sábados y domingos de 15.00 a 18.00 horas. Da quando ha iniziato a lavorare con lo pseudonimo di Yuri Cardinal nel 1997, Éric Le Vergé ha esplorato l'arte post-internet, un campo in cui si fondono appropriazione, appropriazione indebita e riflessione sulle principali questioni contemporanee – informazione, sorveglianza, ecologia e geopolitica. Questa residenza al Superflux sarà per lui un'occasione per creare legami tra la musica e le arti visive, due aree essenziali della sua carriera. Yuri Cardinal spiega così il suo progetto: "Nell'ambito di questa residenza, voglio esplorare l'interazione tra le arti visive e sonore, traendo ispirazione dai numerosi scambi e influenze insiti nell'universo di Superflux. Il mio lavoro prenderà la forma di un'esplorazione multidisciplinare di installazioni visive ed esperimenti sonori, in cui ogni gesto creativo intreccerà un legame con il sito e i suoi contesti Florian Stéphant si occuperà dello Studio 25. Florian Stéphant è un graphic designer, video artista e musicista che nel suo lavoro esplora la relazione tra immagine, suono e testo. Durante questa residenza, offrirà un'esperienza immersiva in cui suono e immagine risponderanno e si confronteranno. Ci racconta il suo progetto: "A Bazouges-la-Pérouse realizzerò delle registrazioni sonore che trasmetterò con un registratore a nastro. Il filo magnetico, in costante movimento sulle pareti, attraverserà lo spazio espositivo e si collegherà a disegni e parole, creando un dialogo visivo e sonoro. Ogni segmento di nastro, muovendosi lungo questo percorso, arricchirà l'immaginazione del pubblico giocando sul rapporto tra suono, immagine e contesto" Gli studi degli artisti e gli spazi espositivi saranno aperti al pubblico il sabato e la domenica dalle 15:00 alle 18:00.
