Ian Gaukroger revient au JAM pour la 3ème fois ! Notre pianiste préféré est né et a grandi au Zimbabwe. Il a étudié au Royal College of Music à Londres et y a remporté la prestigieuse médaille d’or Chappell, honneur convoité par tous les pianistes. Il a ensuite étudiéà la Eastman School of Music à Rochester, New York, où il a remporté, entre autres, le prix concerto. Après plusieurs années à Hong Kong, Ian s’est installé aux Pays-Bas en 1991, où il joue régulièrement dans des orchestres de musique de chambre. Il collabore également avec plusieurs grands orchestres dont l’orchestre philharmonique du Pays Bas, l’orchestre de chambre du Pays-Bas et l’orchestre Royal Concertgebouw.

Ian Gaukroger returns to JAM for the 3rd time! Our favorite pianist was born and raised in Zimbabwe. He studied at the Royal College of Music in London, where he won the prestigious Chappell Gold Medal, an honor coveted by all pianists. He then studied at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he won the concerto prize, among others. After several years in Hong Kong, Ian moved to the Netherlands in 1991, where he plays regularly in chamber music orchestras. He also collaborates with several major orchestras, including the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Ian Gaukroger kehrt zum dritten Mal zu JAM zurück! Unser Lieblingspianist ist in Simbabwe geboren und aufgewachsen. Er studierte am Royal College of Music in London und gewann dort die renommierte Chappell-Goldmedaille, eine Ehre, die von allen Pianisten begehrt wird. Anschließend studierte er an der Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, wo er unter anderem den Concerto-Preis gewann. Nach mehreren Jahren in Hongkong zog Ian 1991 in die Niederlande, wo er regelmäßig in Kammermusikorchestern spielt. Außerdem arbeitet er mit mehreren großen Orchestern zusammen, darunter das Niederländische Philharmonische Orchester, das Niederländische Kammerorchester und das Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
