Installation et direction artistique par Southway Studio et Emmanuelle Luciani Southway Studio propose Pimp My Nails, une installation globale et hybride, dans la continuité des recherches du studio sur la pop culture. Pimp My Nails établit un parallèle entre tuning automobile et nail art, chacun représentation populaire d’art décoratif. Un parallèle entre les armures de parade médiévales s’établit avec les oeuvres sculptées aux reflets de carrosserie tunée de Bella Hunt & Dante Di Calce et une bustier en ongles acérés de Glow The Gom. Ces oeuvres hommages à l’automobile, importantes figures de la mythologie de Southway Studio, se déploient sur fond d’un mur recouvert d’un papier peint néon et futuriste, mêlant JPEG de sculptures et ongles sculptés et composé par Emmanuelle Luciani.

Installation and artistic direction by Southway Studio and Emmanuelle Luciani Southway Studio presents Pimp My Nails, a global, hybrid installation in line with the studio's ongoing research into pop culture. Pimp My Nails draws a parallel between car tuning and nail art, both popular representations of decorative art. Parallels between medieval parade armor are drawn with sculpted works of tuned bodywork by Bella Hunt & Dante Di Calce and a bustier of sharp nails by Glow The Gom. These works, which pay homage to the automobile and are important figures in Southway Studio?s mythology, are displayed against a backdrop of a wall covered in neon and futuristic wallpaper, combining JPEG sculptures and sculpted nails, composed by Emmanuelle Luciani.

Diese Hommagen an das Auto, wichtige Figuren in der Mythologie von Southway Studio, entfalten sich vor dem Hintergrund einer Wand, die mit einer futuristischen Neontapete bedeckt ist, die JPEGs von Skulpturen mit geschnitzten Fingernägeln vermischt und von Emmanuelle Luciani zusammengestellt wurde.

Instalación y dirección artística de Southway Studio y Emmanuelle Luciani Pimp My Nails de Southway Studio es una instalación híbrida global que continúa la investigación del estudio sobre la cultura pop. Pimp My Nails establece un paralelismo entre el tuning de coches y el arte de las uñas, ambas representaciones populares del arte decorativo. Se establecen paralelismos entre las armaduras de desfile medievales, con obras esculpidas que reflejan las carrocerías tuneadas de Bella Hunt & Dante Di Calce, y un corpiño de uñas afiladas de Glow The Gom.
