Description

Interest in the gut microbiota has been growing for over 20 years, due to its key role in the body's overall physiology and protection against pathogens. Its composition evolves throughout life, influencing health in healthy subjects, while its imbalance is linked to pathologies such as obesity.
The massive use of antibiotics has led to the emergence of multi-resistant strains, which pose a problem. But fecal transplantation is emerging as a promising therapy.
