Installé dans un château emblématique de la Loire, le Château de Montsoreau – musée d’Art contemporain conserve la plus importante collection au monde d’œuvres de Art & Language, réunie par le collectionneur Philippe Méaille. L’Effet Miroir réunit plus de 50 artistes internationaux et explore l’influence majeure du collectif sur les pratiques artistiques contemporaines. « L’Effet Miroir est une ode intuitive au collectif, explique Lara Pan, commissaire de l’exposition. L’exposition examine les relations entre les artistes et leurs œuvres singulières, à la lumière des principes de Art & Language. ? Dal 25 aprile il museo presenta THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE, un'installazione di venti bandiere progettate da Art & Language. Presentata nel cortile del castello, l'installazione mette in discussione la visibilità, la percezione e l'assenza, tutti concetti centrali nella pratica del collettivo.
? Dal 25 aprile al 1° luglio 2025, la mostra Art & Language: Entretien avec un humoriste obéissant (Arte & Linguaggio: Intervista con un umorista obbediente) segna una prima storica: un'intelligenza artificiale (ChatGPT) che cura un'intera mostra museale.
? Con Art & Language: 72 Postcards, il museo pubblica tutti i testi delle canzoni del collettivo. Ogni cartolina è un frammento di questo lavoro musicale, poetico e concettuale. Questa pubblicazione fa eco a Ten Postcards, un'opera prodotta a Londra nel 1977, e amplia la mostra Masquerade (2023), dedicata al ruolo della musica nel lavoro del collettivo, in particolare attraverso il gruppo The Red Crayola, guidato da Mayo Thompson.
