Une nouvelle fois Kukai Dantza ouvre de nouveaux horizons passionnants en revisitant l’héritage basque. Le chorégraphe ibérique Jesús Rubio Gamo puise dans le rythme de la Txalaparta, instrument de musique traditionnel proche du xylophone, l’inspiration d’une danse percutante et envolée. La txalaparta résonne à partir des coups qui lui sont portés mais dont personne n’est vraiment maître. Les sons s’envolent, libres du contrôle du musicien et défient tout ancrage. Présent sur scène, l’instrument devient l’incarnation d’une danse de groupe à la physicalité débridée. Il y a du rythme dans l’air, des échanges puissants entre la musique et la danse, des tourbillons, des voix, des envols… Le martellement de la Taxalaparta devient libérateur.

Once again, Kukai Dantza opens up exciting new horizons by revisiting Basque heritage. Iberian choreographer Jesús Rubio Gamo draws on the rhythm of the Txalaparta, a traditional musical instrument akin to the xylophone, to inspire a powerful, soaring dance. The txalaparta resonates from the blows it receives, but over which no one has complete control. The sounds take flight, free from the musician?s control and defying all anchorage. Present on stage, the instrument becomes the embodiment of a group dance of unbridled physicality. There's rhythm in the air, powerful exchanges between music and dance, whirlwinds, voices, flight? The pounding of the Taxalaparta becomes liberating.

Wieder einmal eröffnet Kukai Dantza neue, aufregende Horizonte, indem es das baskische Erbe neu beleuchtet. Der iberische Choreograf Jesús Rubio Gamo lässt sich vom Rhythmus der Txalaparta, einem traditionellen Musikinstrument, das dem Xylophon ähnelt, zu einem durchschlagenden und fliegenden Tanz inspirieren. Die Txalaparta erklingt durch die Schläge, die sie erhält, aber niemand kann sie wirklich beherrschen. Die Klänge fliegen davon, frei von der Kontrolle des Musikers und trotzen jeglicher Verankerung. Das Instrument ist auf der Bühne präsent und wird zur Verkörperung eines Gruppentanzes mit ungezügelter Körperlichkeit. Es liegt ein Rhythmus in der Luft, ein kraftvoller Austausch zwischen Musik und Tanz, Wirbel, Stimmen, Flüge? Das Hämmern der Taxalaparta wird zur Befreiung.

Opnieuw opent Kukai Dantza spannende nieuwe horizonten door terug te keren naar het Baskische erfgoed. De Iberische choreograaf Jesús Rubio Gamo gebruikt het ritme van de Txalaparta, een traditioneel muziekinstrument dat verwant is aan de xylofoon, als inspiratiebron voor een krachtige, zwevende dans. De txalaparta resoneert als hij wordt aangeslagen, maar niemand kan er echt controle over uitoefenen. De klanken nemen een vlucht, vrij van de controle van de muzikant en tarten alle ankerpunten. El coreógrafo ibérico Jesús Rubio Gamo se inspira en el ritmo de la txalaparta, un instrumento musical tradicional parecido al xilófono, para crear una danza poderosa. La txalaparta resuena al golpearla, pero nadie puede controlarla. Los sonidos alzan el vuelo, libres del control del músico y desafiando todo anclaje. Presente en el escenario, el instrumento se convierte en la encarnación de una danza colectiva de desenfrenada fisicalidad. Hay ritmo en el aire, potentes intercambios entre música y danza, torbellinos, voces, vuelo? El golpeteo de la Taxalaparta se vuelve liberador.

Il coreografo iberico Jesús Rubio Gamo attinge al ritmo della Txalaparta, uno strumento musicale tradizionale simile allo xilofono, per ispirare una danza potente e slanciata. La txalaparta risuona quando viene colpita, ma nessuno può controllarla veramente. I suoni prendono il volo, liberi dal controllo del musicista e sfidando ogni ancoraggio.
