Inspirée du roman éponyme de Jean Echenoz, la pièce revient sur ses dernières années, de l’euphorie de sa grande tournée aux États-Unis à la mélancolie du balcon de sa maison à Montfort-l’Amaury, évoquant son isolation progressive, sa prise de conscience de la perte des mots et de la mémoire, et l’impossibilité de saisir la rêverie sonore.
