Festival de Musique Ancienne et Baroque : G.F. Händel – Le Pavillon de musique – 06-07-2025 – Saint-Michel

Fidèle à son principe original de journées complètes de musique baroque au début de l’été, le festival propose en 2025 un nouveau parcours de cinq dimanches et de douze concerts. Deux ou trois programmes par date, organisés autour de thématiques différentes, une rencontre conviviale et des échanges avec les artistes, ainsi que la possibilité de déjeuner sur place, fondent l’identité d’un projet ambitieux qui trouve un écrin idéal dans l’exceptionnel site abbatial. Le génie de Händel en ses années romaines, au service d’une aristocratie et de prélats fanatiquement passionnés de musique, dans un contexte de haute théâtralité baroque. Des cantates en formes de véritables scènes d’opéra, à la faveur de fêtes de grande ostentation auxquelles pouvait aussi prendre part le virtuose Corelli. Des pages inspirées mêlant légèreté et pathétique, en préfiguration des exaltations et souffrances des futures héroïnes des opéras londoniens.

Faithful to its original principle of full days of Baroque music at the beginning of the summer, in 2025 the festival offers a new itinerary of five Sundays and twelve concerts. Two or three programs per date, organized around different themes, a convivial encounter and exchanges with the artists, as well as the possibility of lunch on site, form the identity of an ambitious project that finds an ideal setting in the exceptional abbey site. The genius of Handel in his Roman years, in the service of an aristocracy and prelates fanatical about music, in a context of high Baroque theatricality. Cantatas in the form of veritable opera scenes, for ostentatious festivities in which the virtuoso Corelli could also take part. Inspired pages blending lightness and pathos, foreshadowing the exaltation and suffering of future London opera heroines.

Das Festival bleibt seinem ursprünglichen Prinzip der ganztägigen Barockmusik am Anfang des Sommers treu und bietet 2025 einen neuen Parcours mit fünf Sonntagen und zwölf Konzerten an. Zwei oder drei Programme pro Tag, die sich um verschiedene Themen drehen, ein geselliges Treffen und Austausch mit den Künstlern sowie die Möglichkeit, vor Ort zu Mittag zu essen, bilden die Grundlage für die Identität dieses ehrgeizigen Projekts, das in der außergewöhnlichen Abteianlage einen idealen Rahmen findet. Händels Genie in seinen römischen Jahren, im Dienste einer fanatisch musikbegeisterten Aristokratie und Prälaten, in einem Kontext hoher barocker Theatralik. Kantaten, die wie Opernbühnen gestaltet waren, wurden bei prunkvollen Festen aufgeführt, an denen auch der Virtuose Corelli teilnahm. Inspirierende Seiten, die Leichtigkeit und Pathos in sich vereinen und einen Vorgeschmack auf die Ausbrüche und Leiden der zukünftigen Heldinnen der Londoner Opern geben.

Trouw aan het oorspronkelijke principe van volle dagen barokmuziek aan het begin van de zomer, biedt het festival in 2025 een nieuw programma van vijf zondagen en twaalf concerten. Twee of drie programma's per datum, georganiseerd rond verschillende thema's, een gezellige ontmoeting en uitwisseling met de artiesten, evenals de mogelijkheid om ter plaatse te lunchen, vormen de basis van de identiteit van een ambitieus project dat een ideale setting vindt in de uitzonderlijke abdijsite. Het genie van Händel in zijn Romeinse jaren, ten dienste van een aristocratie en prelaten die fanatiek met muziek bezig waren, in een context van hoogbarokke theatraliteit. Cantates in de vorm van echte operascènes, ter gelegenheid van opzichtige festiviteiten waaraan ook de virtuoos Corelli kon deelnemen. Geïnspireerde pagina's die lichtheid en pathos combineren, een voorbode van de verheffing en het lijden van de toekomstige heldinnen van de Londense opera.

Fiel a su principio original de jornadas completas de música barroca al principio del verano, el festival propone en 2025 un nuevo programa de cinco domingos y doce conciertos. Dos o tres programas por fecha, organizados en torno a temas diferentes, un encuentro de convivencia e intercambios con los artistas, así como la posibilidad de almorzar in situ, constituyen la base de identidad de un ambicioso proyecto que encuentra un marco ideal en el excepcional emplazamiento de la abadía. El genio de Haendel en su época romana, al servicio de una aristocracia y unos prelados fanáticos de la música, en un contexto de alta teatralidad barroca. Cantatas en forma de verdaderas escenas de ópera, con motivo de ostentosas festividades en las que también podía participar el virtuoso Corelli. Páginas inspiradas que combinan ligereza y patetismo, prefigurando la exaltación y el sufrimiento de las futuras heroínas de la ópera londinense.

Due o tre programmi per data, organizzati intorno a temi diversi, un incontro e uno scambio conviviale con gli artisti, nonché la possibilità di pranzare in loco, costituiscono la base dell'identità di un progetto ambizioso che trova nell'eccezionale sito dell'abbazia una cornice ideale. Il genio di Handel nei suoi anni romani, al servizio di un'aristocrazia e di prelati fanatici della musica, in un contesto di alta teatralità barocca. Cantate in forma di vere e proprie scene d'opera, in occasione di feste sfarzose a cui poteva partecipare anche il virtuoso Corelli. Pagine ispirate che uniscono leggerezza e pathos, preannunciando l'esaltazione e la sofferenza delle future eroine dell'opera londinese.
