"Passages empruntés – Passages inventés" Joey Brusquet est un sculpteur français contemporain né en 1993. Il travaille le métal avec finesse et légèreté, inventant des formes végétales et organiques qui semblent appartenir à un temps suspendu. Ses sculptures explorent et mettent en jeu des mécanismes d'attraction, de tensions, de flux et de rotations. La précision du geste des découpes à main levée sont particulièrement sensibles et participent à cette impression de fluidité et d'harmonie. Mélangeant l'acier, le laiton, le bois, le béton et la feuille d'or, ses œuvres nous révèlent un univers poétique et onirique. L'incisif y rencontre le volatil, la gravité y côtoie le mouvement, dévoilant des jeux de contrastes de matières et de lumière subtils et hypnotiques. Diplômé en Arts Plastiques à Rennes, il réside désormais dans le Finistère et travaille aux Ateliers Jean Moulin à Plouhinec.

Mixing steel, brass, wood, concrete and gold leaf, his works reveal a poetic, dreamlike universe. Incisive meets volatile, gravity rubs shoulders with movement, revealing subtle, hypnotic contrasts of material and light. A graduate in Plastic Arts from Rennes, he now lives in Finistère and works at Ateliers Jean Moulin in Plouhinec.
