Cette exposition a pour objet de présenter un ensemble d’œuvres sur papier issues de L’arc – scène nationale Le Creusot. Constituée au cours des années 1980-90 grâce à des dotations d’Etat et des acquisitions faites par L’arc, cette collection riche de plus de quatre cents œuvres imprimées (lithographies, sérigraphies, tirage off set, affiches) offre une large palette d’expressions, tant abstraites que figuratives et regroupe des artistes majeurs des dernières décennies du XXe siècle. Dans le magnifique écrin des Ecuries St Hugues, l’exposition permettra donc au public de découvrir des estampes de Bram van Velde, figure d’ainé très appréciée par toute une génération d’artistes qui émerge après la seconde guerre mondiale ; des artistes emblématiques du courant CoBrA : Pierre Alechinski, Bengt Lindström, Jean Messagier et ses dépaysages poétiques ; ainsi que le peintre catalan Antoni Tàpies, Catherine Viollet, Mario Prassinos, Daniel Humair et Olivier Debré… Tous et toutes composent le chœur de cette exposition d’une trentaine d’œuvres. De tendance abstraite, ces œuvres sur papier abordent les thèmes de l’espace, des forces telluriques, de la nature, des éléments, nous ouvrant toutes grandes les portes vers un « imaginaire poétique » cher à Gaston Bachelard, scientifique et philosophe, dont les écrits ont inspiré nombre de ces artistes. This exhibition presents a collection of works on paper from L'arc – scène nationale Le Creusot. Built up between 1980 and 1990 thanks to government grants and acquisitions made by L'arc, this collection of more than four hundred printed works (lithographs, silkscreens, off-set prints, posters) offers a wide range of expressions, both abstract and figurative, and includes major artists from the last decades of the 20th century. In the magnificent setting of the Ecuries St Hugues, the exhibition will give visitors the chance to discover prints by Bram van Velde, the elder statesman of a whole generation of artists who emerged after the Second World War; emblematic artists of the CoBrA movement: Pierre Alechinski, Bengt Lindström, Jean Messagier and his poetic journeys; as well as the Catalan painter Antoni Tàpies, Catherine Viollet, Mario Prassinos, Daniel Humair and Olivier Debré… They all make up the chorus of this exhibition of around thirty works. These abstract works on paper tackle the themes of space, telluric forces, nature and the elements, opening wide the doors to a 'poetic imagination' dear to Gaston Bachelard, the scientist and philosopher whose writings inspired many of these artists. Diese Ausstellung soll eine Reihe von Werken auf Papier präsentieren, die aus L'arc – scène nationale Le Creusot stammen. Diese Sammlung von über 400 Drucken (Lithografien, Siebdrucke, Offsetdrucke, Plakate) wurde in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren durch staatliche Zuwendungen und Ankäufe von L'arc aufgebaut. Het doel van deze tentoonstelling is om een verzameling werken op papier te presenteren van L'arc ? scène nationale Le Creusot. Deze collectie van meer dan vierhonderd gedrukte werken (litho's, zeefdrukken, offsetdrukken, affiches), die in de periode 1980-90 is opgebouwd dankzij overheidssubsidies en aankopen van L'arc, biedt een breed scala aan expressies, zowel abstract als figuratief, en brengt belangrijke kunstenaars uit de laatste decennia van de 20e eeuw samen. In de prachtige omgeving van de Ecuries St Hugues, zal de tentoonstelling bezoekers de kans geven om prenten te ontdekken van Bram van Velde, de oudere staatsman van een hele generatie kunstenaars die opkwam na de Tweede Wereldoorlog; emblematische kunstenaars van de CoBrA-beweging: Pierre Alechinski, Bengt Lindström, Jean Messagier en zijn poëtisch exotisme; evenals de Catalaanse schilder Antoni Tàpies, Catherine Viollet, Mario Prassinos, Daniel Humair en Olivier Debré? Ze vormen allemaal de kern van deze tentoonstelling van een dertigtal werken. Esta colección de más de cuatrocientas obras impresas (litografías, serigrafías, separatas, carteles), constituida entre 1980 y 1990 gracias a subvenciones públicas y adquisiciones de L'arc, ofrece un amplio abanico de expresiones, tanto abstractas como figurativas, y reúne a grandes artistas de las últimas décadas del siglo XX. En el magnífico marco de las Ecuries St Hugues, la exposición permitirá descubrir estampas de Bram van Velde, anciano de toda una generación de artistas surgidos tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial; artistas emblemáticos del movimiento CoBrA: Pierre Alechinski, Bengt Lindström, Jean Messagier y su exotismo poético; así como el pintor catalán Antoni Tàpies, Catherine Viollet, Mario Prassinos, Daniel Humair y Olivier Debré? Todos ellos constituyen el núcleo de esta exposición de una treintena de obras. L'obiettivo di questa mostra è presentare una collezione di opere su carta provenienti da L'arc ? scène nationale Le Creusot. Costruita nel periodo 1980-90 grazie alle sovvenzioni governative e alle acquisizioni effettuate da L?arc, questa collezione di oltre quattrocento opere stampate (litografie, serigrafie, stampe off-set, manifesti) offre un'ampia gamma di espressioni, sia astratte che figurative, e riunisce importanti artisti degli ultimi decenni del XX secolo. Nella splendida cornice delle Ecuries St Hugues, la mostra permetterà ai visitatori di scoprire le stampe di Bram van Velde, il più anziano di un'intera generazione di artisti emersi dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale; artisti emblematici del movimento CoBrA: Pierre Alechinski, Bengt Lindström, Jean Messagier e il suo esotismo poetico; ma anche il pittore catalano Antoni Tàpies, Catherine Viollet, Mario Prassinos, Daniel Humair e Olivier Debré? Tutti loro costituiscono il nucleo di questa mostra di circa trenta opere.
