Red as a tomato, as tall as three apples, crying like a madeleine: many popular expressions have culinary origins. This exhibition presents some of the best-known, accompanied by literary quotations and illustrated with works of art.

Rot wie eine Tomate, hoch wie drei Äpfel, weinend wie eine Madeleine: Viele volkstümliche Ausdrücke haben ihren Ursprung in der Küche. In dieser Ausstellung werden die bekanntesten dieser Redewendungen zusammen mit literarischen Zitaten und Kunstwerken vorgestellt.
