L'artiste explore la "Figuration du peintre", un sujet central qu'il a poursuivi tout au long de sa vie. Son œuvre se décline en reportages muraux comportant textes et photographies, dessins, peintures, films et objets. Cette rétrospective réunit une quarantaine d'œuvres de l'artiste réalisées entre 1968 et 2024 toutes issues de son atelier. Proposée par Évelyne Artaud, Philosophe, Critique d'art et Commissaire de l'exposition et conçue par Patrice Moreau, Conservateur de musée, l'exposition s'inscrit dans la démarche de valorisation de la création contemporaine dédiée aux arts graphiques du musée. Constituée d'un ensemble d'une quarantaine d'œuvres, composées de dessins, peintures, textes et photographies, gravures, sculptures – toutes issues du fonds de collection de l'artiste….

The artist explores the "Figuration of the painter", a central subject he has pursued throughout his life. His work takes the form of wall reportages featuring text and photographs, drawings, paintings, films and objects. This retrospective brings together some forty works by the artist produced between 1968 and 2024, all from his studio. Proposed by Évelyne Artaud, philosopher, art critic and curator of the exhibition, and conceived by Patrice Moreau, museum curator, the show is part of the museum's approach to promoting contemporary creation dedicated to the graphic arts. Der Künstler erforscht die "Figuration des Malers", ein zentrales Thema, das er sein ganzes Leben lang verfolgt hat. Sein Werk umfasst Wandreportagen mit Texten und Fotografien, Zeichnungen, Gemälde, Filme und Objekte. Die Retrospektive umfasst rund 40 Werke des Künstlers, die zwischen 1968 und 2024 entstanden sind und alle aus seinem Atelier stammen. Die Ausstellung wurde von Évelyne Artaud, Philosophin, Kunstkritikerin und Kuratorin der Ausstellung, vorgeschlagen und von Patrice Moreau, Museumskonservator, konzipiert. Sie ist Teil der Bemühungen des Museums, das zeitgenössische Schaffen im Bereich der grafischen Künste zu würdigen. Zijn werk heeft de vorm van muurreportages met teksten en foto's, tekeningen, schilderijen, films en objecten. Deze overzichtstentoonstelling brengt een veertigtal werken van de kunstenaar samen, gemaakt tussen 1968 en 2024, allemaal uit zijn atelier. De tentoonstelling, georganiseerd door Évelyne Artaud, filosofe, kunstcritica en curator van de tentoonstelling, en vormgegeven door Patrice Moreau, conservator van het museum, maakt deel uit van het streven van het museum om hedendaags werk in de grafische kunsten te promoten. Esta retrospectiva reúne unas cuarenta obras del artista realizadas entre 1968 y 2024, todas procedentes de su taller. Organizada por Évelyne Artaud, filósofa, crítica de arte y comisaria de la exposición, y concebida por Patrice Moreau, conservador del museo, la exposición se inscribe en la voluntad del museo de promover la obra contemporánea de las artes gráficas.
