"Formes et couleurs" Gérard COTTEREAU, artiste-peintre. Artiste autodidacte, j'ai commencé la peinture à l'huile en 1985. Après avoir marqué un arrêt de 10 ans dans la création artistique, j'ai repris les pinceaux en 2002 et trouvé ma voie dans une peinture de natures mortes et de paysages réalisés au couteau avec des touches colorées, franches, parfois cubiques. Pour moi, le sujet importe peu : coupe de fruits, vase, paysage d'eau ne sont que prétextes à un travail de coloriste, toujours au service de l'émotion. Au fil du temps, mon travail se transforme au niveau de l'écriture. Je passe de la représentation de la réalité à l'interprétation artistique. L'organisation de l'espace évolue. Les couches de peinture se superposent. Grâce à un jeu de contrastes de valeur, de couleur, de matière, le sujet simple devient une création où se mêlent force et douceur. After taking a 10-year break from artistic creation, I picked up my brushes again in 2002 and found my calling in painting still lifes and landscapes with a knife, using bold, colorful, sometimes cubic strokes. For me, the subject doesn't matter: a bowl of fruit, a vase, a waterscape are just pretexts for my work as a colorist, always at the service of the subject always at the service of emotion. Over time, my work has changed in terms of writing. I move from the representation of reality reality to artistic interpretation. The organization of space evolves. Layers of paint are superimposed. Thanks to a play of contrasts in value, color and material, the simple subject becomes a creation where strength and gentleness mingle. "Formen und Farben" Gérard COTTEREAU, Kunstmaler. Als autodidaktischer Künstler habe ich 1985 mit der Ölmalerei begonnen. Nach einer zehnjährigen Pause im künstlerischen Schaffen nahm ich 2002 die Pinsel wieder auf und fand meinen Weg in einer Malerei von Stillleben und Landschaften, die ich mit dem Messer mit farbigen, klaren, manchmal kubischen Pinselstrichen ausführte. Für mich ist das Thema nicht wichtig: Obstschalen, Vasen, Wasserlandschaften sind nur Vorwände für meine Arbeit eines Koloristen, der immer im Dienste der Emotion steht. Im Laufe der Zeit verändert sich meine Arbeit auf der Ebene der Schrift. Ich gehe von der Darstellung der Realität realität zur künstlerischen Interpretation. Die Organisation des Raums entwickelt sich weiter. Die Farbschichten überlagern sich. Durch ein Spiel mit Kontrasten von Wert, Farbe und Material wird das einfache Thema zu einer Kreation, in der sich Kraft und Sanftheit vermischen. "Vormen en kleuren Gérard COTTEREAU, schilder. Als autodidact ben ik in 1985 met olieverf begonnen. Na een pauze van 10 jaar heb ik in 2002 mijn penselen weer opgepakt en mijn roeping gevonden in het schilderen van stillevens en landschappen met behulp van een paletmes en kleurrijke, gedurfde, soms kubusvormige penseelstreken. Voor mij doet het onderwerp er niet toe: een fruitschaal, een vaas, een waterlandschap zijn slechts voorwendsels voor mijn werk als colorist, altijd in dienst van het onderwerp altijd in dienst van de emotie. In de loop der tijd is mijn werk veranderd in de manier waarop ik schrijf. Ik ga van de weergave van artistieke interpretatie. De organisatie van de ruimte evolueert. Lagen verf worden op elkaar gelegd. Dankzij een spel van contrasten in waarde, kleur en materiaal wordt het eenvoudige onderwerp een creatie waarin kracht en zachtheid zich vermengen. Tras una pausa de 10 años en la creación artística, retomé los pinceles en 2002 y encontré mi vocación pintando bodegones y paisajes con espátula y pinceladas coloristas, audaces, a veces cúbicas. Para mí, el tema es indiferente: un frutero, un jarrón, un paisaje acuático son sólo pretextos para mi trabajo de colorista, siempre al servicio del tema siempre al servicio de la emoción. Con el tiempo, mi trabajo ha cambiado en cuanto a mi forma de escribir. Paso de la representación de la interpretación artística. La organización del espacio evoluciona. Las capas de pintura se superponen. Gracias a un juego de contrastes de valor, color y materia, el tema sencillo se convierte en una creación donde se mezclan fuerza y delicadeza. Dopo una pausa di 10 anni dalla creazione artistica, ho ripreso in mano i pennelli nel 2002 e ho trovato la mia vocazione nel dipingere nature morte e paesaggi con la spatola e pennellate colorate, audaci e talvolta cubiche. Per me il soggetto non ha importanza: una ciotola di frutta, un vaso, un paesaggio acquatico sono solo pretesti per il mio lavoro di colorista, sempre al servizio del soggetto sempre al servizio dell'emozione. Nel corso del tempo, il mio lavoro è cambiato in termini di modalità di scrittura. Passo dalla rappresentazione all'interpretazione artistica interpretazione artistica.
