[EXPOSITION] JBFL duo – 26-11-2025 – Pontmain

À travers la pratique du dessin, de la peinture et de l’installation, JBFL duo intègre le vivant dans ses créations, jouant plus particulièrement avec les lisières et les bordures. Qu’il s’agisse de cultiver la nature ou de la dessiner, de la contenir ou de lui laisser libre cours, ils inventent des espaces à la fois observables et habitables, où art et technique se rencontrent. Les deux artistes explorent les tensions entre l’organique et le mécanique, la main humaine et les drawbots (machines à dessiner), la nature et l’hybridation… Ils présentent dans cette exposition une sélection d’œuvres en dialogue avec l’implantation d’un jardin d’ombre qu’ils créent devant le centre d’art. Un laboratoire à ciel ouvert pour redonner vie à cet espace malmené lors des travaux de l’automne 2024. Through drawing, painting and installation, JBFL duo integrate living things into their creations, playing in particular with edges and borders. Whether cultivating nature or drawing it, containing it or giving it free rein, they invent spaces that are both observable and inhabitable, where art and technique meet. The two artists explore the tensions between the organic and the mechanical, the human hand and drawbots, nature and hybridization? In this exhibition, they present a selection of works in dialogue with the shadow garden they are creating in front of the art center. It's an open-air laboratory designed to bring new life to this space, which will be badly damaged during the construction work scheduled for autumn 2024. Durch Zeichnen, Malen und Installationen integriert das JBFL-Duo das Lebendige in seine Kreationen, wobei es insbesondere mit Rändern und Kanten spielt. Ob es darum geht, die Natur zu kultivieren oder zu zeichnen, sie einzudämmen oder ihr freien Lauf zu lassen, sie erfinden Räume, die sowohl beobachtbar als auch bewohnbar sind, wo Kunst und Technik aufeinandertreffen. Die beiden Künstler erforschen die Spannungen zwischen dem Organischen und dem Mechanischen, der menschlichen Hand und den Drawbots (Zeichenmaschinen), der Natur und der Hybridisierung? In dieser Ausstellung zeigen sie eine Auswahl ihrer Werke im Dialog mit dem Schattengarten, den sie vor dem Kunstzentrum anlegen. Ein Labor unter freiem Himmel, um diesen Raum, der während der Bauarbeiten im Herbst 2024 in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurde, wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Door middel van tekeningen, schilderijen en installaties integreert het duo JBFL levende wezens in hun creaties, waarbij ze vooral spelen met randen en begrenzingen. Of ze de natuur nu cultiveren of tekenen, inperken of de vrije loop laten, ze vinden ruimtes uit die zowel observeerbaar als bewoonbaar zijn, waar kunst en techniek elkaar ontmoeten. De twee kunstenaars onderzoeken de spanningen tussen het organische en het mechanische, de menselijke hand en drawbots (tekenmachines), natuur en hybridisering? In deze tentoonstelling presenteren ze een selectie werken in dialoog met de schaduwtuin die ze voor het kunstcentrum aanleggen. Het is een openluchtlaboratorium dat ontworpen is om nieuw leven te blazen in een ruimte die zwaar beschadigd zal worden tijdens de werken die gepland zijn voor de herfst van 2024. A través del dibujo, la pintura y la instalación, el dúo JBFL integra los seres vivos en sus creaciones, jugando en particular con los bordes y los límites. Ya sea cultivando la naturaleza o dibujándola, conteniéndola o dándole rienda suelta, inventan espacios a la vez observables y habitables, donde arte y técnica se encuentran. Los dos artistas exploran las tensiones entre lo orgánico y lo mecánico, la mano humana y los drawbots (máquinas de dibujar), la naturaleza y la hibridación.. En esta exposición, presentan una selección de obras en diálogo con el jardín de sombras que están creando frente al centro de arte. Se trata de un laboratorio al aire libre concebido para dar nueva vida a un espacio que se verá muy deteriorado durante las obras previstas para otoño de 2024. Attraverso il disegno, la pittura e l'installazione, il duo JBFL integra gli esseri viventi nelle proprie creazioni, giocando in particolare con i bordi e i confini. Coltivando la natura o disegnandola, contenendola o dandole libero sfogo, inventano spazi che sono allo stesso tempo osservabili e abitabili, dove arte e tecnica si incontrano. I due artisti esplorano le tensioni tra organico e meccanico, tra mano umana e drawbot (macchine da disegno), tra natura e ibridazione? In questa mostra presentano una selezione di opere in dialogo con il giardino d'ombra che stanno creando di fronte al centro d'arte. Si tratta di un laboratorio all'aperto progettato per dare nuova vita a uno spazio che sarà gravemente danneggiato durante i lavori previsti per l'autunno 2024.
