Youri Terral Perrut explore les états de présence, les récits oubliés et les mémoires en creux. Dans Na Jua, solo performatif inspiré de sa rencontre avec les Na — société matrilinéaire et animiste des montagnes himalayennes — chaque geste devient passage, chaque déplacement, tentative de contact avec l’invisible. Il y convoque un rituel de transformation, à la fois intime et politique. Sur scène, fumée, tulle, lumière et matière composent un paysage en mouvement — un espace d’apparition et de disparition. À travers ce corps habité, traversé, dégenré, Na Jua nous invite à reconsidérer nos héritages, nos rapports au vivant, et à l’autre.

What if a man?s body could carry a woman?s memory? To be crossed by other stories, other visions of the world? Youri Terral Perrut explores states of presence, forgotten narratives and hollow memories. In Na Jua, a solo performance inspired by his encounter with the Na – a matrilineal, animist society in the Himalayan mountains – every gesture becomes a passage, every movement an attempt to make contact with the invisible. In it, he summons up a ritual of transformation, both intimate and political. On stage, smoke, tulle, light and matter compose a landscape in motion? a space of appearance and disappearance. Through this inhabited, traversed, disenfranchised body, Na Jua invites us to reconsider our heritage, our relationship with the living, and with others.

Was wäre, wenn ein männlicher Körper eine weibliche Erinnerung tragen könnte? Von anderen Erzählungen, anderen Weltanschauungen durchdrungen werden? Youri Terral Perrut erforscht Zustände der Präsenz, vergessene Erzählungen und hohle Erinnerungen. In Na Jua, einem performativen Solo, das von seiner Begegnung mit den Na – einer matrilinearen, animistischen Gesellschaft in den Bergen des Himalaja – inspiriert wurde, wird jede Geste zum Durchgang, jede Bewegung zum Versuch, mit dem Unsichtbaren in Kontakt zu treten. Er ruft ein Ritual der Transformation auf, das zugleich intim und politisch ist. Auf der Bühne bilden Rauch, Tüll, Licht und Material eine Landschaft in Bewegung, einen Raum des Erscheinens und des Verschwindens. Durch diesen bewohnten, durchquerten und entkleideten Körper lädt uns Na Jua dazu ein, unser Erbe, unsere Beziehungen zum Lebenden und zum Anderen zu überdenken.

Youri Terral Perrut verkent toestanden van aanwezigheid, vergeten verhalen en holle herinneringen. In Na Jua, een soloperformance geïnspireerd op zijn ontmoeting met de Na – een matrilineaire, animistische samenleving in het Himalayagebergte – wordt elk gebaar een doorgang, elke beweging een poging om contact te maken met het onzichtbare. Hierin roept hij een ritueel van transformatie op dat zowel intiem als politiek is. Op het podium creëren rook, tule, licht en materie een landschap in beweging? Een ruimte van verschijnen en verdwijnen. Door middel van dit bewoonde, doorkruiste, ontheemde lichaam nodigt Na Jua ons uit om ons erfgoed, onze relatie met de levenden en met anderen te heroverwegen.

En ella convoca un ritual de transformación que es a la vez íntimo y político. En el escenario, el humo, el tul, la luz y la materia crean un paisaje en movimiento… un espacio de aparición y desaparición. A través de este cuerpo habitado, atravesado y despojado, Na Jua nos invita a reconsiderar nuestra herencia, nuestra relación con los vivos y con los demás.
