L’exposition FluOREST est une invitation à une promenade « spectrale » au cœur des forêts tropicales de l’Amazonie et de l’Asie du Sud-Est. Ces biotopes, d’une très grande biodiversité animale et végétale, sont le siège d’étonnants phénomènes optiques, souvent méconnus et dont les fonctions restent encore à élucider. L’exposition est divisée en trois parties distinctes, le visible (humain), les ultraviolets et le proche infrarouge, les trois gammes spectrales qui composent le spectre solaire, ainsi que le moyen infrarouge correspondant au rayonnement des organismes vivants.

The FluOREST exhibition is an invitation to take a 'spectral' walk through the tropical forests of Amazonia and South-East Asia. These biotopes, which are home to a wealth of animal and plant biodiversity, are the site of astonishing optical phenomena, many of which are little-known and whose functions have yet to be elucidated. The exhibition is divided into three distinct sections: the visible (human), the ultraviolet and the near infrared, the three spectral ranges that make up the solar spectrum, as well as the mid-infrared corresponding to the radiation of living organisms.

Die Ausstellung FluOREST ist eine Einladung zu einem "spektralen" Spaziergang durch die tropischen Wälder des Amazonas und Südostasiens. Diese Biotope mit einer sehr großen Artenvielfalt an Tieren und Pflanzen sind Schauplatz erstaunlicher optischer Phänomene, die oft verkannt werden und deren Funktionen noch nicht geklärt sind. Die Ausstellung ist in drei verschiedene Bereiche unterteilt: sichtbares Licht (für den Menschen), Ultraviolett und nahes Infrarot, die drei Spektralbereiche, aus denen sich das Sonnenspektrum zusammensetzt, sowie das mittlere Infrarot, das der Strahlung lebender Organismen entspricht.

De tentoonstelling FluOREST is een uitnodiging om een 'spectrale' wandeling te maken door de tropische wouden van Amazonië en Zuidoost-Azië. In deze biotopen, die een rijke biodiversiteit aan dieren en planten herbergen, doen zich verbazingwekkende optische fenomenen voor, waarvan vele weinig bekend zijn en waarvan de functies nog moeten worden opgehelderd. De tentoonstelling is onderverdeeld in drie verschillende delen: het zichtbare (menselijke), het ultraviolette en het nabije infrarood, de drie spectrale bereiken die samen het zonnespectrum vormen, en het midden-infrarood dat overeenkomt met de straling van levende organismen.

Estos biotopos, que albergan una rica biodiversidad animal y vegetal, son escenario de asombrosos fenómenos ópticos, muchos de ellos poco conocidos y cuyas funciones están aún por dilucidar. La exposición se divide en tres secciones distintas: el visible (humano), el ultravioleta y el infrarrojo cercano, las tres gamas espectrales que componen el espectro solar, así como el infrarrojo medio, correspondiente a la radiación de los organismos vivos.

La mostra FluOREST è un invito a fare una passeggiata "spettrale" nelle foreste tropicali dell'Amazzonia e del Sud-Est asiatico. Questi biotopi, che ospitano una ricca biodiversità animale e vegetale, sono sede di sorprendenti fenomeni ottici, molti dei quali poco conosciuti e le cui funzioni non sono ancora state chiarite. La mostra è suddivisa in tre sezioni distinte: il visibile (umano), l'ultravioletto e il vicino infrarosso, i tre intervalli spettrali che compongono lo spettro solare, nonché il medio infrarosso corrispondente alla radiazione degli organismi viventi.
