Description

Drawing, for Edi Rama, emanates from a "need to find a balance between the inner and outer gaze", and from this practice flow his sculptures and installations. In the spirit of automatic drawing revealing the unconscious, and to improve his concentration and listening skills, the artist draws during meetings and telephone calls in his office as Prime Minister of Albania. By using color as a means of creating social ties, Edi Rama aimed to instill a sense of belonging and create exchange among citizens. In Dimanche sans fin, Edi Rama combines a ceramic sculpture with a hand-embroidered folding screen created for the project, whose dialogue creates a play on the Wrong Gallery's open borders.
