Cinq chanteurs et deux instrumentistes réunis pour présenter une photographie sonore de l'Europe pendant la période Baroque. Bach, Purcell, Monteverdi et Charpentier seront juxtaposés avec des motets à 5 voix. L'occasion pour l'auditeur de comparer les styles de chacun d'eux et de constater que si on identifie vite les styles inhérents à chaque pays, la manière de penser et faire vivre le texte est commune. Five singers and two instrumentalists come together to present a sonic snapshot of Europe during the Baroque period. Bach, Purcell, Monteverdi and Charpentier will be juxtaposed with 5-part motets. This is an opportunity for listeners to compare the styles of each of them, and to realize that while the styles inherent to each country are quickly identified, the way of thinking and bringing the text to life is common to all. Fünf Sänger und zwei Instrumentalisten kommen zusammen, um eine Klangfotografie von Europa während der Barockzeit zu präsentieren. Bach, Purcell, Monteverdi und Charpentier werden mit fünfstimmigen Motetten nebeneinander gestellt.
