C’est à Toronto en 2015 que naît Wine Lips. Le petit projet à temps partiel de Cam Hilborn et Aurora Evans devient vite grand et les propulse dans une aventure qu’ils·elles n’auraient pas prédit. Avec un premier album éponyme, le groupe sillonne l’Amérique du Nord jusqu’à la Chine. Leurs sons trépidants aux touches psyché et fuzzy sont vite remarqués. Avec "Stressor" et "Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party", les Canadiens continuent leur ascension et atteignent les oreilles d’Iggy Pop pour qui "ça, c'est de la musique !". Place en 2024 à leur bien nommé "Super Mega Ultra", 12 pistes explorant de nouveaux territoires avec panache. Tandis que "High On Your Own Supply" bourrine un punk à la Osees, "New Jazz" envoûte de sa basse groovy.
