Concert OK Podium "Summerfall" – 20-09-2025 – Caen

Summerfall was born in 2023 from the meeting of 4 musicians from Caen around a teenage love affair. That of Hawaiian band Chokebore. As brilliant as they were underrated, the band from Amphetamine Reptile Records became the link between the members of summerfall, whose music is enriched by their various influences (Blonde Redhead, Slint, Faraquet, Lack, Karate, 31Knots, Fugazi…) and experiences. Having played in ambient rock (Swiss Corporal Search), punk rock (Ravi) and post-punk (Cemented Minds) bands, the members of summerfall have created an emo-indie-rock sound made up of hot-colds whose identity is marked by limpid vocals and flowing guitars set to a compact bass-drum rhythm. These newcomers to the French indie scene may not be in their infancy, but it's with youthful energy that they set out to conquer hearts. What is an OK Podium? It's a platform and an open stage for a new musical project. It's the place and the time for first concerts, or first-ever performances of certain songs. A good way to light the fuse of Saturday night fever.
